Chapter 26

Alisha's POV

The clock on the computer reads five thirty and I can't believe how quickly the day flew by. Once I got going everything I've learned in school came into play, this is what I've been working towards as a career and the real reason I'm here. I finally get to be an intern like I'm supposed to be, if my days are going to be like this I don't mind staying until the end and completing my studies. Things just got a little brighter around here, even without any windows.

The day was uneventful as a very few people even bother to come in to the office . Just a handful and they totally ignored me choosing to speak with Saphria only. She is the secretary after all and would be able to answer the questions they had. It didn't hurt my feelings one little bit, the less interaction the better . At lunchtime food was delivered up from the kitchens,there was so much that it was shocking and that's a perk for sure. I was happy to stay in this little space and keep my exposure to others li
