"In books I
have travelled, not only to other worlds, but into my own "I abruptly slammed the brakes . Samuel got up with a start from the backseat and Scar continued with her rhyme
"Jingle bells, umbridge smells, losers go away. Draco's hot Voldemorts not, Hogwarts all the way hey!!"
Sam and me turned our heads towards scar simultaneously. We looked at her for a while , she stopped singing and Sam was the first to break the silence
"What the fuck is wrong with you. " he glared at her but this just seemed to excite her more as she started singing more loudly now. Sam buried his head in his arms "Never am I gonna get her drunk or allow her to get drunk" I agreed to whatever he said . She practically made me lead ourselves to death . I resumed my driving trying my best not to listen to the rhyme scar brayed. About after 20 minutes we reached The parkers house.
"You should stay over here for the night . It's not safe to go alone at this time of the night and I am not functional to drive you home." Hearing Sam's words I looked at my phone . It was already 1 o'clock in the night, I never realised how fast time flew by . Accepting his offer, I quickly called my mother. She was angry and asked why I reached so late and whether I am drunk. Assuring her I cut the call and helped Sam carry a drunk Scar to her bed. I removed her heels and tried my best to remove her Make up with a makeup wipe.
"You have been to many sleepovers here before so I presume you can manage ." Sam told me all the while massaging his temples. I nodded at him. After saying a good night Sam retreated to his bedroom , which was right next to Scar's . After changing my clothes, I grabbed an extra sleeping bag and laid down .
I was soon consumed by sleep . Drunk scar really did drain all of my energy.

The next morning I woke up and made my way to the kitchen to grab some breakfast . On the counter were already placed pancakes , most probably cooked by margaret - Scar's caretaker. Quickly helping myself with some delicious pancakes, I entered the living room. Sam and Scar had still not woken up.
Not wanting to disturb them I switched on the television . I started watching some show that was coming on it when all of a sudden the show was stopped to show news .
A lady with a black pencil fit skirt and a yellow blouse appeared on tv.
"A very shocking and unexpected tragedy occurred yesterday midnight at sharp 12. 3 houses were burned in Mark's street simultaneously. Four families died in the burning house with a total of 11 people residing out of which only one was rescued . The crime seemed to be planned as all 3 houses were burnt together with a time gap of not more than 10 min between them.
The doers of the crime are not caught as no body in the neighbourhood was awake . The cctv camera has caught a hazy image of two people shooting the camera to keep them from getting discovered . Both were men and they wore identical black hoodies and black jeans . Nothing more is known about the suspects .
The coincidence or a well plan: it cannot be described as the same crime occurred not only in Westwood but also in Milo, Weston , Holden
Shaking off the feeling I quickly switched off the tv and went to Scar's room to wake her up. It was already 10 in the morning. I tried calling her but she didn't steer . So I opened the curtains allowing sunlight fall inside the room and directly up on her . She groaned.
"Go away!! "She cried. I ignored her and proceeded to pull her blanket, to which she kicked and barely missed my hand. "Margaret , has prepared delicious pancakes. "To which she sat at once on the bed. The sudden movement might have got her dizzy as she was clutching her head and started groaning.
"My head feels like it has been trampled on by elephants "I shrugged . The hangover was getting to her. "You shouldn't have had so many drinks yesterday " I replied to which she turned her head towards me so fast that I was surprised that she hafn't gotten a whiplash due to her hair by now .
"What happened yesterday? When did I drink, I was sober "
"Well a lot happened yesterday but most of it was revolved around you. You have truly forgotten what you did yesterday . You see the fact of forgetting stuff after drinking much is truly clashing with what you think you were." I looked at her.
"Please tell me i didn't do anything stupid in front of Landon " she franctically asked me.
"Well......." I waited for a while before answering it, to which scar just glared af me . Finally I replied
"I don't know what you did in front of him but he told me that he couldn't keep up with your mood swings."
Hearing this she buried her face once again in her arms .
"He is gonna think that I am crazy ."
"We all know that 'you are crazy" She glared at my response.
"Enough of mopping around, get your ass out of the bed and have some breakfast. "
I gave her an advil that I found in the medicine cabinet. She gladly took it and we made our way down. While she was having her food I started filling her in everything that happened except the mysterious guy. My tale nearly made her spew her drink twice.
After a while I said goodbye to Scar and quickly started my journey towards my house .once inside I was greeted with the presence of my over the top worried/angry mom. It took her around 20 minutes to finally forgive me . I went to my bedroom and started reading a book.
Suddenly I remembered the mysterious guy whom i had met while we were on the way back. Something told me that I would see this guy sooner or later .
"I saw you in my dreams again. It felt so real"Monday came too soon for my liking. I grudgingly got up from my bed, and got ready for school. I exited the house after kissing my mother goodbye. Shivering slightly when the cold air nipped at my skin.
"The beautifulthingaboutfear is, when you runtowardsit. It runs away"My eyes felt like they were being stabbed because of the ferocity with which I was closing them. I felt the knife glide over a small part of my skin and the feel of blood dripping scared me. Suddenly the pressure of the k
The morning was cold. Like freezing cold, with the sweater on me, my teeth were still chattering. I was happy that I could sleep well without a nightmare this time. Even though I had roughly around 7 hours of sleep I still felt drowsy because of the cold. We loaded the car and after checking that the house was locked, and that we had everything we wanted, we got into the vehicle. We were going to Milo for 10 days, mum got to finally take a few days holiday from her job. She was a lawyer and recently she was caught up in her work more than ever and it was a miracle that she got to take a few days leave .
"I thought we had something special but I guess it was just me."It has been 2 days since I came to Milo. Two days since I realised that my close-to-be murderer had a name. But the worst was that he was my cousin's boyfriend and that too he was staying in the same house for the vacations. I didn't know what to do. I completely avoided him for 2 continuous days but i knew that
"When my thoughts get too loud, I take a paper and put them into words."Loud banging on the door woke me from my slumber, I was still reluctant to open my eyes. At once I couldn't breathe and it seemed like I was drowning . I pulled myself out and gasped for air. I was reminded that I was in the bathroom having a hot bath and it seemed that I fell asleep . Quickly putting on a robe, I opened the door to see who it was banging the door on the other side. I came face to face with a

But will never know: Our world is full of the ghosts, of unspoken words and memories"I glanced at the clock present in the middle of the room, i groaned silently, 40 minutes of the class was still left. HI,Sooo... This will be the end of the first book. I was wondering how to end it and this seems like the perfect way( For the time being, I guess). For two months I had a full-blown writing spurt and now it has come to an abrupt stop. So yeah, the second book will take some time to
I woke up to bright sunlight shining on my face. I groaned and tried shifting to find a much more suitable position, but the cold hard floor wasn't comfortable in the very least.I slowly sat up, my back and my muscles aching more than ever. I rubbed my eyes and my face, only to immediately wince when my frozen fingertips touched my face. My fingers had turned slightly blue due to the cold, but luckily they hadn't turned numb.I looked beside me to see that my sister and my mum were still sleeping. My tossing and turning had made me move away from them by a few meters. I slowly hauled myself up from the floor. The cave was fully visible now that the sunlight was filtering into the cave. I had to say it was, even more, prettier in the daylight. The whole cave was black in colour with blues in it. It looked untouched and spotless apart from our belongings that were sprawled on the floor. I made a mental note to clean it up later. I decided to check the outsid
Fayth's POV:The car was slowly coming to a halt, and the air was thick with smoke. I jolted awake, confused by the sudden change in the atmosphere. I looked sideways at my mum, in the hopes of getting some clarification."Why did you stop, mum?" I asked her."There is a huge line of cars stuck right ahead. I don't know why there is traffic here. We haven't even entered the city yet." She looked confused. I looked ahead, to see so many vehicles lined up ahead. We waited for a while, yet the vehicles didn't seem to move ahead. The people seemed to be getting angry, and I saw many people get out of the car in order to inspect why there was a block."What is happening?" My sister moved towards the front seat and asked. She seemed to have woken up from her slumber, still rubbing her eyes."There is a block ahead," I replied."Why?" She questioned."Like the hell, I know!
I hoisted into the car, the little of what was left, of our belongings. My mother stood on the sideways, her eyes glued to the debris which we once called home. I didn't know what to say to her or how to comfort her."I could have done it," Rafael told me, pointing towards the bag that I had just placed in the car."I am not weak, you know," I replied. He was already helping me do other things, and I wasn't going to stand on the sidelines and watch him work.Adrien slammed the boot shut. I turned towards them; not knowing how to say goodbye.I stepped back and let mum do the farewells first. She hugged both the boys and said something to them, that I couldn't catch. Surprisingly she didn't cry."Fayth!" I heard someone scream my name, and I turned around to see who it was.Scarlet was running towards us, her brother and her family walking behind her. The site was pretty funny, but her eyes glistening with
