Part 4

SELENA HEMSWORTH'S POV

I crossed my arms, watching the man comfortably sitting inside my house.

Dad gave me a warning look by pointing ay my crossed arms to be uncrossed. I can't help but to raise my right eye brow. "Dad, this man followed me like a stalker. I do not see how he seems to be too welcome here."

My mom panickly ran towards me then covered my mouth. She looks at the man called Uno then bows her head.

I slowly remove my mother's hand from my mouth and attempted to stand up but my dad walked near and hold my shoulder, unabling me to stand up.

I remained seated—cluelessly waiting for them to explain why the man who followed me is sipping good coffee that my mom has prepared.

"Maybe it's time for you to know the truth. We kept it for 5 long years but since Alpha Uno already found you, we can't keep hiding. Most importantly, we can't avoid your destiny "

"What destiny??" I shrugged my shoulders.

My mom who was on the couch nodded and then added. She kept brushing her palms against each other

"Please don't punish Selena, she doesn't know anything about our betrayal to the pack" she was looking at Uno, the man they called alpha.

With my eyebrows raised, I asked in confusion

"W-Wait, what?. Just what the hell are you guys talking about!!? Is this some sort of a pack joke?" I frantically turn my head right and left, trying to find tiny red lights that will indicate that we are being recorded but to my disappointment.

There is none.

They ignored me as they continue their conversation. I pulled mom's cloth to get her attention but his eyes were fixed on Uno's eyes.

My dad holds mom's hand. "I will fix this. Stay calm." My thoughts were baffling as I look at them one by one.

I cannot understand a thing they are trying to convey.

"Let me speak. Mom, dad—what is this?"

"There is one thing that we wanted to let you know, Alpha Uno." Dad begand to speak.

"Speak," The so-called Alpha said with authority in his voice.

I have no other option but to listen as they all pull out a serious conversation that I cannot understand.

"5 years ago..." All eyes were fixed on my father, the one who is talking right now.

I glance over to Uno and I saw him brushing his hands together as he attentively listen to my father's explanation.

"It is hard leaving the pack 5 years ago. My wife and I knew that you already marked our daughter as your Luna."

When he mentioned marked, I pull my right t-shirt up a little bit down. There I saw a bite mark, it was actually a normal-looking bite mark but every time I tried to remove it- not working. It can't be removed.

"So you did this." I managed to catch their attention, I pointed the mark at my shoulder.

"What a bummer. Why can't this be removed? What kind of teeth do you have Alpha or so whatever?"

It was a wrong move as Uno's smile slowly fades. He walk straight to me. "MOVE!" He ordered mom and dad with a shouting voice.

My forehead wrinkled but dad touched my shoulder, caressed it and gave a quick bow while whispering. "Behave."

Dad took mom aside as Uno approach me, dad followed him with a gaze. "S-Sorry Alpha Uno. My daughter, she really thinks she is a human. That is why she sounded nothing like a werewolf would do to her alpha."

"You betrayed me!" He covered the mark with my clothe's , rub his hands on his temple.

He drop himself on the same sofa that I sat on.

My forehead started sweating for reasons I cannot recognize.

I suddenly felt different. I haven't felt this before.

It's too hot.

I felt like my whole body is heating up. Sweats began to roll down my forehead. My cheeks began to heat as well. I laid back at the sofa.

In my peripheral view, I saw his eyes looking at me and then to my parents then back at me.

"Are you okay?" He said, facing me and feeling my forehead with his palm.

I shoved his hands away. After him reactng that way, now he acts as if he's all goody.

I'm heating too much and my body has become more sensitive than earlier.

My father slaps his forehead with his palm and sighs in a depressing way. "Why Am I seeing my own daughter caught heat because of her Alpha. I guess this can't be helped."

I scratched my head, the heat was still here but my parent's reactions are little weird.

Heat??

I turned my head to the Alpha but he is also sweating nonstop. My parents are not sweating, only the two of us.

"Are you okay, Alpha Uno?" My father asked as he saw Uno's face turning red.

He looks worse than me.

Is he sick or what?

I was about to get near but my mother hold me back "Don't get near him. Not now. It will only cause more trouble for you and him" She said while gripping my hands.

My father frantically looked at my mother. "Alpha!" he began to examine his body.

"Mary get the Alpha inhibitor on my drawer quick!" My mother quickly disappeared, as she left me on a couch that has distance from Uno.

"Stay here." she instructed before running towards their room, she went back with something on her hand.

Alpha Inhibitor?

I stand up and it's an alarming thing for my dad. I haven't seen him as panicked as this.

"Sit down!" He ordered, looking sharp at me.

My butt automatically went back to feel the soft couch.

"Fine. Just give me a fan or what. Maybe I can go to the freezer for a while. It felt like this place turn's into satan's haven. The heat is no joke at all." I said, complaining about the heat burning inside me.

"And for Pete's sake, stop talking."

My parents are taking my basic rights off. I just rolled my eyes and feel the heat as if it was normal.

I was wondering why they aren't sweating the way Uno and I, do.

Mother handed the pills to my father and she handed Uno a cup of glass while my father gave him the tablet.

I just looked at them with crossed arms. I wanted to say 'Hey mom and dad, I am exactly feeling the same as he does but why aren't you taking care of me' sadly, I can't. Dad told me not to speak.

Hmph! I said, silently throwing tantrums.

After some minutes, I saw how Uno felt relieved and he stopped sweating.

My mother and father finally remembered I was here. After they took care of Uno instead of me, their legitimate daughter- they handed me a tablet too.

After taking the tablet, I felt calm. My sweats also fade away.

I didn't know what just happened but all I know was that there is something that my parents are hiding.

We kept our distance, far enough from each other. I just saw him for the first time but I guess my father and mother already knew him. He was a little young, in my guess maybe he is 24 or 25 years old- not far from my age.

My parents are showing too much respect despite the age gap. They even told me to act right in front of him.

" I am sorry for interrupting your words earlier. It can't be helped since my Luna is here." He said, looking at me then he turned his gaze to my dad. "Now, I am relaxed. Thank you for the inhibitor earlier. By the way, what were you saying earlier?"

"HEY HEY!! WHY DO YOU GUYS KEEP IGNORING ME??" I couldn't take it so my voice suddenly raised.

I finally got their attention—not in a good way, though. I looked down on the floor, pouts my mouth and clasp my hands together.

I suddenly felt a gentle weight on my shoulder and when I turn gaze up, I met his green eyes, once again.

"Shh. I will explain it to you later at our place."

Place??

I managed to push him away from me while my face

"The thing that I wanted to tell you was that..." my father walk towards me and he hold my left shirt and shoved it aside- enough to see the other mark I have on the left side of my shoulder.

Uno's eyes began to widen as he rub his eyes and looked at it about 2 times.

"A mark?"

"How can this happen?" He added. "I did not saw that when I marked her that day."

His eyes were starting to glare as he look at the other mark on my shoulder.

"When she was a 17-year-old Luna, a rival Alpha found her in the woods. I do not know how she went and end up there because when we asked her, she can't remember a thing. She went home with another Alpha mark. We do not want to cause trouble for the two tribes so we decided to give her a memory removal and live with humans."

Listening to my father felt like he was telling some kind of fairy tale.

Uno looked in my direction, shifting his gaze back and forth between my marks and my face. "Can we just let her remember things so we can have her full again?"

"The memory removal was strong and can't be undo but I was told everything would come back, I just don't know how and when."

" So I do have amnesia? Wait, Did you gave me an amnesia?" I interrupted.

"Why didn't you tell me anything about that? Is this man my supposedly husband?" They all looked at me. My father and mother are exchanging stares.

"It's a long story my daughter." Mom sat beside me, brushing my hair with her fingers. "We just did what's best for you and the tribe."

Alpha Uno, stand up and composed himself.

"You both know that leaving with the future Luna of the tribe is a very serious offence to the whole tribe but since I am the Alpha, I have the last say in every situation. Your reasons are halfway good but still that's betrayal."

My father and mother both bow their heads down. "We are so sorry for our impulsive decisions, Alpha Uno." Father said, while facing the floor.

Uno cleared his throat.

"But like what I said earlier. I am not here to punish any of you. Elders told me that I should not wait for too long for my Luna to come back, that is why I am here, as an Alpha I am requesting to live with my Luna to take those 5 years back that we haven't seen each other. I will not return to the pack without her, Beta Dale said he can manage the pack for a year and when we get back. My Luna will be recognized. For now, I wanted to make memories with her."

"Do I have a say in this?" I said.

They all looked at me. Uno said "If you disagree, I will have to get your parents punished for making me away from you for 5 whole damn years. Imagine the children we could have done with all those years."

My parents had no choice, as what they said. They let me be taken away by this Alpha male that I only knew for less than a day.

"So were are we going?" I asked while we are walking in the middle of the night.

I agreed to go with him because my father told me so. The only thing I cannot disobey is his orders. I highly respect him for giving me a comfortable life here.

"I brought a house here, don't worry my Luna."

He was telling the truth, we stopped in a house.

It is not just a house but a mansion. I almost drop my eyes and my jaw when he told me.

"Welcome to our kingdom, My Luna."

From the open door to the spacious corridor, the house exuded warmth. The photos of him was all over the walls. The walls were the blue of ocean deep meeting a dramatic white baseboard, and the floor was an antique parquet with a blend of deep, warm blue. The carpenter turned a branch into a banister, taming it so that its grain flowed like water in waves of calming ocean waves. It was a clear design of ocean inspired, something that is so soothing to the eyes.

"Tomorrow we will buy your dress and anything you need"

This Alpha sure knows how to give himself a good image.

Despite obviously taking a like in my new place, my body was still trembling while my mind is constantly thinking about how this night would turn.

He guided me to a room. Inside the room, a light blue themed decoration welcomes my eyes. "This would be our room" he said as he hug me from behind and buried his head on my shoulder. "Do you liked it?"

I gulped with his hands wrap around my waist. I dare not to turn and lookat him because I can feel his breath so close. Afraid that if I look, our lips might meet.

I breathe deeply, his scent is so strong that I can't understand why my body is reacting this way. "P-Please d-don't come that close. My body is reacting not too well." I said, stuttering some words due to nervousness.

I took his hand and unwrap it. I walk towards the bed and sat on it.

I tap the soft cusion of the pillow "I loved it." I said.

He looked at me then I saw his adam's apple going up and down means he is gulping.

He sighed and turn his cheeks the other way. "This won't work."

"What? What do you mean?" I said.

He locked the door behind him and went closer to my position. He pinned me down to the bed and my heart started beating abnormally.

"W-What?" I said.

He looked at my lips and then back to my eyes with his deep green eyes.

"My Luna, Can I touch you tonight?"

After those words, a hard thud was heard for my palm reacted quickly to his question.

I saw him smirked as he touches the cheek I just slapped. "You dare to slap your Alpha. What a brave woman you are."
