CHAPTER ELEVEN

I had stood up from where I knelt, the air was thick as I slipped quietly into the path the stones created.

No one would ever know something like this existed in Ralph’s chamber, or maybe they knew and just didn’t bother telling me

The moment I crossed the threshold, the heavy door behind me sealed itself with a soft thud, leaving me in a world that felt far removed from the castle.

The wall before me rumbled softly, shifting just enough to reveal a narrow passageway that stretched into the darkness. I took a deep breath and took a few steps inside, touching my stomach unconsciously.

The air was cooler here, thick with the scent of old stone and forgotten power. It looked like a small inner chamber itself, old books littered around, cobwebs cut across every corner in the room, it was old, it was stuffy, I took few more steps and stepped on something rather unusual

A skeleton!!

Screaming for help, immediately I held back my mouth as I was covered in sweat, fear gripping me as I looked
