By the time Sia settled back in her cottage it was evening. The sun was about to set and the birds were returning to their homes. The mesmerizing scenery reminded Sia of R. In fact, everything reminded her of R.

She felt the dull ache in her heart magnify. She let out a deep sigh and arranged the materials for sketching. R could never be hers but the memories were hers to recall and preserve.
