Skoll follows Elenor as she walks to one of the rooms that the inn uses for its customers. The door has the number seven engraved on a gold metal plate, indicating that this is room seven. She opens the door and walks in with Skoll following close behind. The room itself, consists of any normal room thst an inn would have, a bed, a nightstand with a candle, and pictures hanging on the wall.
"Please take a seat." She says motioning to one of the two extra chairs that they had brought in beforehand. Skoll sits down looking nervous.
"Alright, I just need to ask you a few questions." Elenor says as she sits down.
"How long is this going to take?" Skoll asks her.
"As long as it needs to. Try not to look so nervous, there is nothing to worry about."
"How can I not be nervous. From what I've heard deciding how high our threat level determines how many rights our species have."
"I guess that's true, but from what I've s
"Please have a seat." Elenor says as she smiles at Luna. "I must say that your pure white fur looks gorgeous.""Thanks." Luna says with a smile as she sits down on the chair across from Elenor."Now then let's get down to business. Alright, Luna why don't you tell me about yourself.""I not sure what to say. I guess I would start by saying that I like practicing archery, in fact, I'm getting really good at it.""Yes, so I've heard. Suriel told me that you're better than most humans at it, that's very impressive for someone your age. Although it might be easier for you since you're not human, from what I've heard you pups have better reflexes and hand-eye coordination."Luna didn't expect Elenor to be so nice to her. 'So this is why Skoll said it wasn't so bad.'"Tell me about your brother Fenrir, what is he like?""I would call him a loner, at least more recently he has been keeping to himself more. Earli
The Raven Shield soldiers prepare to head back to the capital, gathering up their gear and mounting the horses, they set off at a slow pace. The three wolf siblings are hitching a ride in one of the wagons the soldiers brought, that had previously been used to carry supplies for their journey to Kalda. The wagon has no seats and is a bumpy ride. The wolves are having trouble getting comfortable for the long journey ahead. "How long did they say it could take to get there." Skoll asks.Luna responds to him while trying to get into a comfortable position. "They said it would take a week.""An entire week of dealing with this bullshit." Fenrir says. 'I would have liked to concentrate on training my magical aura while on this trip, but I guess that's not happening, at least not while riding in this.'Fenrir turns his head and looks at Skoll. "You like to exercise don't you? What do you say, do you want to walk instead?""I
A scream is heard echoing throughout the camp, everyone is quick to stop what they are doing to find out what's happening. Mortas is the first one to discover the grim scene, a soldier torn apart from the torso lying in a pile of blood. The face of the fallen soldiers has a terrified look, almost like he knew he was going to be killed. Looking up from the soldier into the woods, Mortas sees a pair of red eyes staring back at him."Everyone, prepare for a fight, we're are under attack." Mortas yells.A stream of orange flames approaching Mortas catches him off guard, but fortunately, he puts up a magical barrier in front of him just in time. The barrier shining blue even in the dark of night as the flames pass around it barely avoiding the soldiers standing behind him. The fire stops and a large black figure takes to the sky and Mortas finally figures out what it is. "Just as I feared, its a wyvern. Everyone take cover, Elenor back me up, Gabriel make sure t
Mortas continues his battle with the wyvern. Being an elemental type mage gives him the advantage in a fight against an opponent that can only use fire. However, since the wyvern is flying in the air Mortas has to resort to long-ranged attacks. By combining wind and water he creates ice crystals which he molds into spears and shoots them at the enemy. This has caused him to lose a good portion of his energy and he has not been able to hit it yet. 'When fighting a monster that has an advantage in the air the best option is to make it a close-range fight. That is easier said than done. There must be a way to get it to land.'"Elenor, we need to make this a close-ranged battle. It won't land by itself, we need to coordinate our attacks and focus on hitting its wings so it can't fly.""Alright, just tell me what I need to do."'Elenor is a nature mage. Which means she focuses on healing spells and mid-ranged attacks. She can manipulate the surrounding tr
"What was that wolf thinking coming in here alone? The orc says. "That brat got himself killed for nothing, that's what he gets for trying to take on more than he could handle. Now then where were we?"Just then Fenrir's body starts to move. Dark aura starts to surround him as he stands up. 'It's been far too long since I've been in the human realm.'Luna looks concerned by Fenrir's new form. "Fenrir, is that you?""No, you stupid bitch, Fenrir is no more. My name is Zel'guul, but you can call me Zel for short. That kid was stupid enough to let me use his body as I please, and now I can wreak havoc upon this world once more."The orc steps up to fight Zel. "Just because you got a little power-up doesn't mean you can defeat me and my minions. Goblins attack him.""Don't get too cocky just because you think you're some big shot around here. I've fought much stronger opponents than you, even though this body can't handle my full power yet, it's
Mortas waits for Zel to attack again keeping calm and alert. Then he sees it, the slightest moment from Zel and Mortas knows that he is coming. Since Zel Is too fast for Mortas to react, he has to rely on his battle experience to foresee his attacks by observing the slightest movements from Zel's muscles. 'I have to use the rest of my energy to make the shield as strong as possible to withstand this attack. It will be up to Fenrir after this to take control and end this.'As Zel closes in he uses his momentum to jump while digging his claws into the shield slowing him down and lands behind Mortas. After realizing what just happened Mortas quickly turns around to use his remaining magic to attack Zel. However, it's too late, Zel thrusts his arm through Mortas's chest just as Mortas puts his hand up to attack."If you attacked me when you had the chance to might have won the fight." Zel says to him as Mortas starts coughing up blood. "This fight was decided t
Fenrir finds himself lying on the ground not being able to move. The wound he gave himself from slitting his throat has completed healed thanks to Zel trying to save himself. 'I dont sense Zel anymore, he must be gone for good. My body feels like it's on fire from all that magical energy. I need to force my body to move, I can't stay out in the open helpless like this.'Fenrir is eventually able to force himself to stand up even though his body is still screaming in pain. He looks over at the lifeless bodies of Luna and Mortas. 'I'll have to wait to give them a proper burial, right now I need to find shelter and recover my injuries.' As he heads off to seek shelter in the Dark Territory something draws him back to Mortas. He walks over to his corpse. 'I feel an urge to start eating his flesh like some wild animal would do. But this isn't right, I can't do something like that. Well, maybe I can. I am technically a wolf, and last time I checked wolves dont get sick from e
A week and a half later with Elenor leading the way with the remaining group of soldiers, they have successfully managed to escort Skoll safely to the capital of Fura known as Hitara.Approaching the gates to the capital with walls surrounding it four times the height of a person, Skoll is amazed at the sheer size of it all. Since he has spent his whole life in the woods this is something that seemed foreign to him. Seeing Elenor approach the soldiers guarding the entrance to the gate motion to others at the top of the wall to open it. The group makes their way into the city where a small crowd of people have gathered, most of the crowd contains the family members of the soldiers that had gone off in the journey. As they make their way past the crowd, some of the family members notice that the ones they waited for are not with the returning group. Cries and sobs can be heard over the sound of the horse's hooves clicking on the stone roads. The group makes
Daren starts to fade in and out of consciousness. The pain is becoming too much for his body to handle. He stops screaming, and his body becomes numb. His brain severs the pain receptors. He lays there, getting sodomized to death. Dying this way never crossed his mind. How much damage has he done to her to make her this way? To even think about doing this to someone. Unforgivable. But these things happen all the time. We just choose to be ignorant of them for our sanity. "He's had enough." Fenrir says after seeing his body go limp. Alice is about to interject, but then she sees the same thing. He's dead. "Do you feel any better?" Fenrir asks her, already knowing the answer to that. She was enjoying herself, too much for Fenrir to be comfortable with. Then again. If he was in her position, he might have done something similar. Cloven comes to his mind. He still wonders why he let him live. "So soon?" Alice kicks his body to see if he is still alive. There's no sign of any life. "It
Despite all of the kicking and screaming Daren does, they continue to drag him outside and head for the river. "You brought this upon yourself." Alice berates him. "Bad dogs need to learn to shit outside." "Stop calling me that." Daren tries to hold back his anger. He doesn't want to make the situation worse. Then again, how could he? They're just going to kill him either way. "You know what? Fuck you. I should have beaten you harder when I had the chance." "This is what you get for going through life half-assed. If you're going to abuse someone, you might as well finish them off." Alice keeps berating Daren to get a reaction out of him. But Daren won't fall for it. He won't stoop to her level. He'll take this punishment like a man. This is nothing compared to getting his arm chopped off. What's a little cold bath going to do? When they reach the river, Fenrir asks Alice if she minds if he were to take a bath as well. He hasn't washed his fur since he came here. And she probably do
"What are we doing here?" Skoll says to Lucia and Fala, who have been coming to this bar every day after finishing their daily activities. "Shouldn't we be doing something?" Skoll takes a drink of his beer. He's on his seventh one. "You keep following Lucia and I. No one is forcing you to be here. In fact, we want you to leave." Over the past several days, Skoll has been getting on Fala's nerves with his excessive drinking. Always complaining about Fenrir. At this rate, she hopes he drinks himself to death. That would at least solve one of her problems. "Am I not good enough to fight the demon army by myself? Everyone thinks Fenrir can." Skoll orders a couple of shots, trying to drink himself into a drunken stupor. "I train hard every day, but I feel like I'm always one step behind him." "Skoll. Can Fala and I drink in peace? I understand where you're coming from. But this is getting ridiculous." Lucia tries not to use a harsh tone, but it comes off that way. She knows Skoll better
Fenrir bobs and weaves their fruitless attacks. Far to slow for any to hit him. Instead of going for the killing blows, Fenrir focuses on maiming them. Mainly going after the tendons in their legs so that they can't run away. One by one, they fall to the ground, screaming in pain and yelling for help. Fenrir is about to take out the last human of the group, but he stops short when he smells a familiar scent on him. Alice's scent. Then it hits him. This must be the guy she was talking about, the one who abused Alice in the first place. The one that caused her so much pain and suffering. The thoughts that race through Fenrir's mind are nothing short of sadistic. Wanting to see this human suffer more than the others. But this isn't his fight. Alice should be the one to take her revenge. He'll save him for her, to do what she deems necessary. A proper punishment for unforgivable crimes. This human just stares at him wide-eyed, scared that this violent creature might have something else mo
After two hours of walking, they reach their destination. Some old ruins that strangley resemble that of an old stone fort. Might have been a better option for the rest of the humans to take refuge in, but the crumbling walls are in need of a ton of work. Alice jumps up and down in excitement. Her dream is coming true. Becoming a werewolf, and maybe spending the rest of her life with one. Fenrir, on the other hand, doesn't find this place suitable for living in the long term. There's too much work to be done in a hostile place like this. It's overgrown with plants, on the verge of collapse, and their enemies are too close for comfort."We'll stay here for the night." Alice says enthusiastically. "I want you to impregnate me." If it wasn't for all the fur, she could easily see how much Fenrir is blushing. 'I thought she would be a little more classy than this. Women don't talk like this to guys they just met.'"Alice." Fenrir's voice shakes, still caught off guard by her words. "I thin
"What do you mean by that?" Fenrir asks, not understanding how a human doesn't find their own species attractive. "I guess that I'm just different from everybody else." She looks away from his eyes, trying to think of the right words to say as her heart flutters. "I've heard stories about werewolves, and I've always wanted to meet one since I was a kid." She looks into his eyes once again. I always wanted to be one.""Are you sure? Because I can turn you into one right now." Fenrir regrets saying that so soon. Her mind might not be in the right place. He'd rather wait until they are in a safe place where her mind is at ease. Then again, it would help her survive the storm. "After I do this, there is no going back." She hugs him tighter. She's made up her mind. 'Everything about him is comforting.' She doesn't mind that he has killed people, probably out of cold blood. This is something she has dreamed about since she could remember. Everything about this feels right. "I know." It's
"Come back here, Alice." One of them yells at her as if she would obey a command like that in a life or death situation. "We just want to play." Fenrir keeps chasing after them, trying to think of a plan. He wants to save Alice, but can he do it without giving himself away? He may not have a choice. Alice keeps running as fast as she can. She is running out of breath, but she knows that she can't stop. She knows that she is going to have to fight back or hide. She glances over her shoulder to see where they are. She quickly ducks behind a tree as she gets her bow ready and shoots it off quickly in their direction before taking off again. The arrow hits one of the men in the stomach, causing him to fall to the ground. As he screams in pain, the two other men stop to help him. "Don't pull it out." One of them yells. "We need to get him back to the doctor." "He won't make it." The other one says while the man keeps screaming. "We need to catch up to her. He's just going to slow us do
Lords of the fallen, great kings who had once held positions of power to become kings of nothing. Everything comes to an end at some point, but no one thinks that far ahead. Nor would they want to. No one would have thought that an entire world would succumb to a fate such as this. Whoever the survivors are that survived the tragedy, you can be sure that they didn't learn the lessons their ancestors did. Foot tracks. Fenrir stares at them, wondering if it is still a good idea to contact them. They might have been bombed into the stone age. They might be a cannabilistic tribe. Not like he cares, they can't do anything to hurt him. He decides to keep following the tracks, hoping that they will lead to their settlement. Light snow starts to fall, and it's not enough to cover the tracks, but he doesn't want to take his time either. He needs to find this place before the snow gets worse. If he can get there before the sun rises, he will be able to scout the area better without getting no
"It's been a long time." Cloven says to Fenrir after staring at eqchother for what seems like an eternity. "I just want to say that I don't blame you for what you did." Cloven's tone comes of as genuine. "I realized that I'm not a good person. I can't interact with others until I get better." Fenrir looks at him, confused by how he worded that. "So, are you saying that you aren't better yet? What have you been doing here?"Cloven wastes no time answering him. "I thought I was going to die from dehydration until I found that cave over there. Sometimes, the animals that live in their venture outside, that's how I found it."Fenrir rubs his face out of frustration, knowing where this is going. He wants to know if it's true, but he also knows that he is going to regret asking. "Let me guess. The reason that you know that you're not better is because you are having sex with the animals?" Cloven pauses for a moment, and Fenrir sees this as an admission of guilt. "Let me explain!." Cloven
