Fenrir returns to the land of Fura to execute his plan. A dangerous plan that requires precise timing on both sides. It is thanks to the magic the elves had developed that will make it possible to pull off, a simple device infused with magic that is able to tell time, a crystal that the user wears on their wrist. 'Let's just hope that we got the math of the time dilation between the two realms right.' Fenrir thinks to himself as he heads towards Auron hoping that he hasn't caught wind of his original plan to leave.
But first, he meets up with Hakan who is preparing to leave Fura with the rest of the wolves. Hakan is startled when he sees Fenrir and wonders if something had gone wrong. "What's the meaning of this? Why are you here?"
"Slight change of plans. Just hold off for now, and hand over the statue."
Hakan narrows his eyes wondering what he is up to now. "After all of this planning, you want me to just stop? Do you realize the danger you have already
Auron smiles at Fenrir when he senses no deceit in his voice. "I thought I would never see the day to hear those words. I must admit, you caught me by surprise. To think that you've come this far and forgive me for my past mistakes.""Of course, we all make mistakes. Just don't make me regret the actions I'm taking today. It's my fault that they are in the circumstance they find themselves in right now."Auron places his hand on Fenrir's head. "You're being too hard on yourself. You were only doing what you thought was right, and in hindsight, you were the one who saved them from me in the first place. So it's me who has to thank you in advance for adding more followers to my cause."Auron pauses for a moment thinking about how Fenrir managed to pull this feat off in the first place. Before he is able to ask him, Fenrir responds to him. "We don't have much time, the sooner you can help them the better."Fenrir places the statue in
Several days ago, Lucia and the elf find a nearby cave after asking the hunters in the village if they have seen anything strange. According to them, they have heard strange sounds coming from this specific cave."You might not like this, but we have to trap ourselves inside the cave with the vampire. We can't let it escape without destroying it.""Your right, I don't like that idea. First of all, we would be fighting it on its own turf, we would be at a disadvantage. Second, we don't know if the cave has other exits."The elf rolls his eyes knowing how inexperienced she is. She brings up valid points, but ignores the fact that it's early in the morning. The vampire wouldn't dare leave the cave unless it wanted to die from the sunlight. Unlike popular belief among humans, vampires can't turn themselves into bats. The chances of it escaping the cave are small, especially when you block the exits while it's sleeping. The elf blocks the cav
Fear creeps in as the giant demon slowly makes its way through the portal. The disaster of the situation sets in as the elf realizes that there may be many more demons that will try to come through the portal. "Lucia, are you able to distract them so I have to figure out a way to close it?""I'll try." Lucia manages to say with a bit of hesitation not being entirely sure she can do it. Thoughts run through her head about what would happen if they failed to stop them at this point. What would be the ramifications if the demons were to get past them? How much pain and suffering would they cause to this world? How many innocent people would die?"Anytime now Lucia." The elf says noticing her hesitation. "Don't think about it, just do what you can."After a few seconds, Lucia manages to regain her composer and use illusion magic to confuse the demon and the vampire. The elf quickly springs into action trying to figure out a way to close the portal. 'The
Fenrir yelps in pain as Auron keeps his grasp on Fenrir's broken arm. With a quick twist and pull, Auron easily rips off his arm at the elbow. He stands there shocked for a moment as the pain becomes unbearable. A quick punch to the abdomen sends him flying against the wall almost knocking him unconscious.'How long has it been?' Fenrir asks himself as he opens his eyes, his vision blurred but still trying to see what's in front of him. He can hear a faint voice, as it becomes more and more clear, he realizes that it's coming from right next to him."You need to stay awake." Cloven says. "You didn't protect yourself with reinforcement magic, how careless could you be? You must have hit your head harder than I did." Cloven pours some of his magic into Fenrir to help his body heal from the injuries."I don't need your help." Fenrir says with anger in his voice as he stands up slowly. Cloven gets offended by his comment, but he doesn't let it both
Fenrir finds the spot where he first met Sophia, he still remembers her scent so it won't be too hard for him to track her down. Something in the back of his mind still wonders why he is doing this, why he wants a different life from the one he fought so hard for. Perhaps he wants to become something new and fill that hole in his heart he had felt for so long. This new overwhelming feeling for once isn't driven by a lust for blood, rather, it is driven by the desire to love and be loved by someone. He had thought Lucia would have been the one for him, but Sophia was love at first sight. His guardian angel. For so long Fenrir had been the one protecting others, he had never once thought of anyone protecting him, especially a human.'I thought I could accomplish anything if I had enough power to do so. In the end, I realized just how weak I am. If power means pushing everyone I care about out of my life, then I don't want any of it.' Everything that Fenrir had stri
Several hours after the fight between Auton and the elves had begun, Cloven now stands in the middle of the council room after bringing all the wolves here from Fura. The dead remains of many elves scatter the floor, many of them scorched by the light magic Auron had used on them.In the center of the room stand the last two fighters, Auron and an elf, both of who look like they are at their limit. "Well, isn't this a surprise." Cloven speaks to them in a demeaning tone. "The great Auron is having trouble, who would have thought? I was worried that you would have beat these weaklings so easily, but I guess I was wrong.""Shut your trap you damn wolf. When I'm finished with him, you can be sure that you're next." Auron can barely stand at this point, his words mean nothing to Cloven who still stands confidently.A dying elf crawls up to Cloven and grabs his leg. "Please help me, I don't want to die. My wife and kids are waiting for me at..." Cloven stomps h
"Cloven, what's happening here." One of the elves shouts, clearly terrified by what they are seeing. "Cloven, are you alright?" He asks when he doesn't answer his question. The elf shudders at his appearance, to him, it looks like this wolf has gone feral. The elf aims his spear at Cloven, just in case he attacks them. This is the first time they have seen a wolf act like this, his hands tremble at the sight of him. "Cloven, this is your last warning, we will attack if you don't stand down."Cloven lets out a low-pitched scream that seems to come from nothing but pure rage. His jaw snaps together with ferocity, his teeth clash against one another with enough force to break a man's arm.Cloven's magical ability is still affecting the elf behind him who is now holding the dagger against his throat again. Every fiber of his being is telling him to end his life, his conciseness is thrown into turmoil as he fights to stay alive. In the end, he is not able
Several days have passed since Fenrir ordered Cloven to bring the rest of the wolves back to this world. In this time, Fenrir has been keeping tabs on Sophia by not letting her out of his sight. Even after what had happened to her father, and the fact that she might never forgive him, he still feels the need to protect her.She can hate him for the rest of her life, but that won't change how he feels about her. Needing something to protect has given him a new purpose in life, a single driving goal to keep him from hurting others. It's not that he hasn't had a goal to protect others before, but a human is a different matter.Taking the form of a wild wolf has kept his profile low, as well as sticking to the outskirts of the city where she lives nearby. After attending the funeral of her late father, it's been hard for her to cope without him. Every time she goes to the to pick up supplies, she doesn't look anyone in the eye and keeps her gaze at the ground.
Daren starts to fade in and out of consciousness. The pain is becoming too much for his body to handle. He stops screaming, and his body becomes numb. His brain severs the pain receptors. He lays there, getting sodomized to death. Dying this way never crossed his mind. How much damage has he done to her to make her this way? To even think about doing this to someone. Unforgivable. But these things happen all the time. We just choose to be ignorant of them for our sanity. "He's had enough." Fenrir says after seeing his body go limp. Alice is about to interject, but then she sees the same thing. He's dead. "Do you feel any better?" Fenrir asks her, already knowing the answer to that. She was enjoying herself, too much for Fenrir to be comfortable with. Then again. If he was in her position, he might have done something similar. Cloven comes to his mind. He still wonders why he let him live. "So soon?" Alice kicks his body to see if he is still alive. There's no sign of any life. "It
Despite all of the kicking and screaming Daren does, they continue to drag him outside and head for the river. "You brought this upon yourself." Alice berates him. "Bad dogs need to learn to shit outside." "Stop calling me that." Daren tries to hold back his anger. He doesn't want to make the situation worse. Then again, how could he? They're just going to kill him either way. "You know what? Fuck you. I should have beaten you harder when I had the chance." "This is what you get for going through life half-assed. If you're going to abuse someone, you might as well finish them off." Alice keeps berating Daren to get a reaction out of him. But Daren won't fall for it. He won't stoop to her level. He'll take this punishment like a man. This is nothing compared to getting his arm chopped off. What's a little cold bath going to do? When they reach the river, Fenrir asks Alice if she minds if he were to take a bath as well. He hasn't washed his fur since he came here. And she probably do
"What are we doing here?" Skoll says to Lucia and Fala, who have been coming to this bar every day after finishing their daily activities. "Shouldn't we be doing something?" Skoll takes a drink of his beer. He's on his seventh one. "You keep following Lucia and I. No one is forcing you to be here. In fact, we want you to leave." Over the past several days, Skoll has been getting on Fala's nerves with his excessive drinking. Always complaining about Fenrir. At this rate, she hopes he drinks himself to death. That would at least solve one of her problems. "Am I not good enough to fight the demon army by myself? Everyone thinks Fenrir can." Skoll orders a couple of shots, trying to drink himself into a drunken stupor. "I train hard every day, but I feel like I'm always one step behind him." "Skoll. Can Fala and I drink in peace? I understand where you're coming from. But this is getting ridiculous." Lucia tries not to use a harsh tone, but it comes off that way. She knows Skoll better
Fenrir bobs and weaves their fruitless attacks. Far to slow for any to hit him. Instead of going for the killing blows, Fenrir focuses on maiming them. Mainly going after the tendons in their legs so that they can't run away. One by one, they fall to the ground, screaming in pain and yelling for help. Fenrir is about to take out the last human of the group, but he stops short when he smells a familiar scent on him. Alice's scent. Then it hits him. This must be the guy she was talking about, the one who abused Alice in the first place. The one that caused her so much pain and suffering. The thoughts that race through Fenrir's mind are nothing short of sadistic. Wanting to see this human suffer more than the others. But this isn't his fight. Alice should be the one to take her revenge. He'll save him for her, to do what she deems necessary. A proper punishment for unforgivable crimes. This human just stares at him wide-eyed, scared that this violent creature might have something else mo
After two hours of walking, they reach their destination. Some old ruins that strangley resemble that of an old stone fort. Might have been a better option for the rest of the humans to take refuge in, but the crumbling walls are in need of a ton of work. Alice jumps up and down in excitement. Her dream is coming true. Becoming a werewolf, and maybe spending the rest of her life with one. Fenrir, on the other hand, doesn't find this place suitable for living in the long term. There's too much work to be done in a hostile place like this. It's overgrown with plants, on the verge of collapse, and their enemies are too close for comfort."We'll stay here for the night." Alice says enthusiastically. "I want you to impregnate me." If it wasn't for all the fur, she could easily see how much Fenrir is blushing. 'I thought she would be a little more classy than this. Women don't talk like this to guys they just met.'"Alice." Fenrir's voice shakes, still caught off guard by her words. "I thin
"What do you mean by that?" Fenrir asks, not understanding how a human doesn't find their own species attractive. "I guess that I'm just different from everybody else." She looks away from his eyes, trying to think of the right words to say as her heart flutters. "I've heard stories about werewolves, and I've always wanted to meet one since I was a kid." She looks into his eyes once again. I always wanted to be one.""Are you sure? Because I can turn you into one right now." Fenrir regrets saying that so soon. Her mind might not be in the right place. He'd rather wait until they are in a safe place where her mind is at ease. Then again, it would help her survive the storm. "After I do this, there is no going back." She hugs him tighter. She's made up her mind. 'Everything about him is comforting.' She doesn't mind that he has killed people, probably out of cold blood. This is something she has dreamed about since she could remember. Everything about this feels right. "I know." It's
"Come back here, Alice." One of them yells at her as if she would obey a command like that in a life or death situation. "We just want to play." Fenrir keeps chasing after them, trying to think of a plan. He wants to save Alice, but can he do it without giving himself away? He may not have a choice. Alice keeps running as fast as she can. She is running out of breath, but she knows that she can't stop. She knows that she is going to have to fight back or hide. She glances over her shoulder to see where they are. She quickly ducks behind a tree as she gets her bow ready and shoots it off quickly in their direction before taking off again. The arrow hits one of the men in the stomach, causing him to fall to the ground. As he screams in pain, the two other men stop to help him. "Don't pull it out." One of them yells. "We need to get him back to the doctor." "He won't make it." The other one says while the man keeps screaming. "We need to catch up to her. He's just going to slow us do
Lords of the fallen, great kings who had once held positions of power to become kings of nothing. Everything comes to an end at some point, but no one thinks that far ahead. Nor would they want to. No one would have thought that an entire world would succumb to a fate such as this. Whoever the survivors are that survived the tragedy, you can be sure that they didn't learn the lessons their ancestors did. Foot tracks. Fenrir stares at them, wondering if it is still a good idea to contact them. They might have been bombed into the stone age. They might be a cannabilistic tribe. Not like he cares, they can't do anything to hurt him. He decides to keep following the tracks, hoping that they will lead to their settlement. Light snow starts to fall, and it's not enough to cover the tracks, but he doesn't want to take his time either. He needs to find this place before the snow gets worse. If he can get there before the sun rises, he will be able to scout the area better without getting no
"It's been a long time." Cloven says to Fenrir after staring at eqchother for what seems like an eternity. "I just want to say that I don't blame you for what you did." Cloven's tone comes of as genuine. "I realized that I'm not a good person. I can't interact with others until I get better." Fenrir looks at him, confused by how he worded that. "So, are you saying that you aren't better yet? What have you been doing here?"Cloven wastes no time answering him. "I thought I was going to die from dehydration until I found that cave over there. Sometimes, the animals that live in their venture outside, that's how I found it."Fenrir rubs his face out of frustration, knowing where this is going. He wants to know if it's true, but he also knows that he is going to regret asking. "Let me guess. The reason that you know that you're not better is because you are having sex with the animals?" Cloven pauses for a moment, and Fenrir sees this as an admission of guilt. "Let me explain!." Cloven
