Chapter 1 The Beginning  

 "Your highness, we are ready, the guests are arriving, and your father requires your presence'." "Enrique, remind me again why I am doing this," I said as I looked in the mirror and looked at my outfit for tonight.

 Enrique is my cousin; his parents died the day of the attack on the castle. Since he was the only son of my father's brother, he stayed with us, to he is like a brother, we grew up together. He is one of the most outstanding warriors of our knights, and he is practically my personal guard.

 "Alright, where do I start, if you want your father to take you seriously, to let you be the future queen of Galandria and not have to marry a stupid knight or alpha, who only thinks of having you as a damsel to show off, fuck you and as a baby machine, I'm missing something."

  "No, exactly that's my motivation; thanks for reminding me."

 "You're welcome, it's my pleasure; that's the dress you'll wear tonight, are you sure," she said, looking me up and down, I raised my eyebrow and looked down seeing my dress; it was red completely attached to my body, highlighting my ass and breasts, but without showing too much, since I covered what was necessary. Still, my figure really was unique, and I knew it, so I took advantage of that.

 My natural red hair fell free down my shoulders, and my green eyes with light makeup, my high heels in a cloud color, and I was perfect for tonight.

 "I think I'll have to be very close to you; I don't doubt that one or the other will try to get smart."

 "And who told you that I need to be defended, I know how to take care of myself, Enrique, but I thank you, what would I do without you," I said, giving him a kiss on the cheek and leaving my room, with him behind me.

 We walked down the stairs as we saw the guests in the living room, all looking at me, practically undressing me with their eyes, "Who do we have here, anyone interesting or you should be worried about?" I said, trying not to get nervous.

 "There are the usual, Conrad the Count of Zamarripa, your faithful shadow, he thinks that by constantly sending you flowers you will fall at his feet the idiot, then we have the twins Daniel and Dante the Counts of Marbella, they were talking about the tournament, maybe in challenging you in bow and arrow," said Enrique unable to hide his displeasure.

 "Really, they still can't get over me beating them last year; I thought they were already married or at least coming with a girlfriend," I said, surprised to see them still single.

 "And Juliana, the Countess of Alba, she is very attentive with them; I don't doubt that she intends to marry any of them," I said smiling, looking at her as she tried to get their attention by showing her physical attributes if she had any.

 "She wouldn't be the first, nor the last, to pretend them," said Enrique laughing at how they tried to evade her.

 "So the same as always and from the alphas who do we have?" I said, tired of being treated like a trophy.

 "Five Alphas have come, the most important Alpha Benson of Shadow Clan, Alpha Raven of Yellow Stone Clan, Alpha Braulio of Blue River Clan, and none other than your former suitor and most loyal follower Alpha Kenzo of West Rock Clan," said Enrique looking to the right where he stood, looking at us or instead of looking at me, without the slightest modesty possible.

 "Wow, I already saw him, and he doesn't waste time as usual, isn't he supposed to be forbidden to be near me? I don't understand why he was invited to this event."

 "Your father, he sent him the invitation; I don't know the reason, but it must be for a reason, I know your father, and he wouldn't do it if you were in danger."

 "You said 5 alphas; who is the fifth?" I asked, intrigued.

 "Alpha King Magnus Black of the Black Royal Clan," he said thoughtfully, looking at me.

 "I can't believe it; he will finally make his appearance after so many years; I thought daddy had failed to get him to accept his invitation. " I said, surprised by his visit.

 "Apparently, there was something important in that meeting that your father and the Alpha King had, it was too many days, something good must have happened that caused his visit, he will even stay several days, your father already asked for one of the main suites of the castle to be prepared for him, in fact, the one near yours."

 I looked at him, surprised, at what he had just told me; how could my father possibly do that, he knew how important it was for me to have my privacy. An alpha nearby would not give it to me.

 "What? That brute will be near my room, I have to talk to my father, only this was missing, they always stay on the other side of the castle, for obvious reasons, after the incident where Kenzo attempted ......... (I kept quiet, unable to repeat what that jerk tried to do to me), I didn't feel like having them stay close. I thought dad understood; I'll talk to him."

 I walked through the room on Enrique's arm until I reached my father; we were both in front of him; Enrique looked at him and bowed before retiring and leaving us alone.

 I tried to smile, but I couldn't stop thinking about what Enrique told me about King Alpha Magnus. I approached my father and was ready to confront him, so he would change his mind and not host him near my room.

 "Papa!", I said trying to show a smile, quite forced. "Georgina, daughter, you look beautiful tonight. You remind me so much of your mother, my little girl; if your intention was to go unnoticed, let me tell you that you failed," he said to me as he approached me and kissed my forehead.

 "Really!", I said excited by my father's words and walking over to take my seat next to him.

 I looked around smiling as guests passed by and greeted us until he decided to bring up the subject for good, "Why is the Alpha King staying in the suite that is on the same floor as mine? May I know the reason? You know how important it is to me to have my privacy."

 "Because that's what I decide, and I expect you to behave at the height of what I expect from you, Magnus is our guest of honor, and he will stay in the castle for several days, so I expect you to be attentive and respectful with him. " said my father looking at me and I knew that look, something was going on.

 "Magnus, Papa, this is unusual; what is going on? Are you hiding something from me? What did you talk about during your visit to the Black Royal Clan," I asked, confused by his decision before the Alpha King.

 "The only thing you should know is that Magnus has my full confidence, and as such, he will be treated as such, and there will be no more talk of the matter," he said without giving me a chance to discuss it.

 My father raised his hand, implying that we would speak no more, and I decided to remain silent; in respect, he stood up and walked towards the guests.

 "Dear guests, I appreciate the honor with which you honor us by accepting the invitation I extended to you; we will have three days of events that I am sure will be memorable, today we are welcoming you with open arms, and as such, we expect the respect that both my kingdom and my family deserve.

  "Tomorrow will be the combat and archery tournament, in which the champions chosen by each royal house and Clan will participate of course, at night we will have the masked ball and the last day we will close with the presentation of the champions and an official announcement that will seal the future of all forever, I hope these days will be of harmony and fellowship, everyone has fun! "said my father with a huge smile.

 I got up from my seat and decided to go with my friend Aimé, she was a werewolf and my best friend.

 "Until I meet you, I can't stand these dances that your father organizes with all due respect to the king; they are quite boring," she said, smiling at me.

 I let out a laugh and looked at her, "no kidding, all set?", I said smiling at her.

 "When have I ever failed you? I even have the masks; I got you a lovely fire red one; you are going to look spectacular," she said, raising her eyebrow at me.

 "I never doubted you; give me 15 minutes to go to my bedroom to change, and I'll meet you near my car," I told her.

 "Wouldn't it be better to leave in mine? If we leave in yours, it will raise a lot of suspicions, and we don't want them to realize that we will go out alone."

 "You're right, and they say blondes don't have brain cells," I said, looking at her mockingly.

 "That's because we had to give the redheads a good endowment; there are every idiot out there; god only knows what you would do if I wasn't so charitable," she said, looking at me and laughing.

 "Funny, see you in 15 I'm off."

 I separated from Aime and decided to walk a little around the room to make myself noticed before disappearing tonight when I felt someone grab my arm. I turned my head in search of that person, who had dared to touch me without my permission.

"You get more beautiful every day, which makes it harder for me not to be able to be by your side," said Alpha Kenzo approaching me in a way that I didn't like at all.

 'That's too bad because you will have to get used to the idea, don't think that because my father invited you you can approach me or even try to start a conversation with me, our thing is long over, I'm not interested in you anymore, and I don't want to see you" I told him firmly. Without a smile on my face, I hated him, and I didn't tolerate his presence, much less him being so close to me.

 "Someday, Georgina, my princess, you will be in my bed, begging me to make you mine and run over your body with my caresses, " the very cynical one said in my ear while his hand was on my waist, squeezing me to him tightly.

 I looked at him straight ahead, with my head held high, and I told him with great confidence, "that day will never come; I prefer to be the whore of a warrior than to be your moon and your wife" I let go of his arm and walked towards the stairs, towards my room.

 Enrique was at the top of the stairs and approached me, "Are you ok?" he said, concerned while looking at Kenzo over my shoulder. They were once great friends after what happened between us; everything between them changed.

 "Yes, don't worry, nothing I can't handle; I'll go to my room, I'm tired, and I can't tolerate his presence." "I'll go with you," said Enrique.

 "No, it's not necessary; you'd better stay and make sure he doesn't follow me; I don't want him near me."

 "Take it for granted; I'll keep an eye on him until he leaves our territory."

 I continued up the stairs and felt a piercing gaze; I stopped and turned my head to meet Kenzo's eyes fixed on me; his gaze was piercing, possessive, he just couldn't understand that I wouldn't be for him. I know that, it was eating him alive inside.

 I ignored him and continued on my way to my room.

 I don't know how I was ever in love with him; he has changed so much that it is impossible to recognize that sweet and tender young man he once was with me.

 The asshole still feels entitled to me, since the first time he saw me when I was only 15 years old, but it was all his fault since then, he has done everything he could to win me back; he even tried to take me by force, that was his worst mistake.
