Ashlyn's POV

He was incredulously furious with me and I was forced to look away from his gaze.

"I gave specific tasks and they were easy to execute, which is why I expected them to be done well and I come home to this? This filth?!" His voice boomerang in my head and I shook in fear unable to speak, with the feeling that whatever I'd say to him would anger him the more.

"Milord, Ashlyn did a thorough cleaning of.." Roselia began to defend me, but was cut short with a silencing finger from Lucifer.

His glare was still on me and no one else's. The moment I looked up to notice it, I immediately looked down again. If looks could kill, I'd be dead right now.

"I do not possess great patience. I do not like time being wasted and it irritates me when my expectations are disappointed." He said in a low menacing tone and I swallowed with my lips quivering.

Why was I so afraid? I knew what the punishment was. It was not a new thing to me anymore. He'd yell and then punish me on bed. I could

This book is totally FUBAR. No woman in their right mind would stay with a man who treats her like this unless they have no self-respect. I do not care if it is her mate this is crud and I can't continue to read it. I already know that's how you ended the book.

Ashlyn's POVI was done suffering from Lucifer's injustice. For many hours I was there licking the floor and when I was finally done my stomach turned. What I did, did not go down well with it. If I should throw up here, I'd have to lick back my vomit and that I would not be able to do. Vino picked me up from the ground. "Good job." He said in sarcasm. I could not reply him as he dragged me down to the dungeon. It was darker than the rest of the house and in a sorta way creepy. Indeed it was and it was half filled with prisoners. Prisoners from battle I believe. Not even a ray of light could seep through this darkness. Vino threw me into one of the cells and locked it up and went away. Immediately, my mouth gave way and the floor licking that upset my stomach, poured out. I vomited and placed my hand on my head.I tried to accustom my eyes to my surroundings, but it was quite difficult. I could see the bars of each cell, but not the people in it. I could hear their heartbeats, ea

Ashlyn's POV It took me great pains to write how to be a slave on the paper given to me. I could not write properly with the paper on the ground because there was nothing to place under it for a smooth writing and it came out rough. I was just glad that I could finish it. I had a very discomforting time writing it. With a tool shoved up inside of me and and a icebag creating sensation on my nipples, my imaginations were sorta running wild. Sometimes while I was writing, I'd become dazed and blinded by an oblivion unable to see clearly what was before me. What had made it more easier to withstand the torture was he leaving the lamp behind or perhaps he forgot. Either of, it was of a great help to me. Vino had stood by the cell all through watching me. His eyes on every of my movement. Ensuring that I follow all of his alpha's order and not disobey under his watchful eyes. I had no idea how long I stayed in the dungeon. But, few hours after I had dropped the feather, I saw a ray o

Lucifer's POV Kill, Stealth, Ripper and Rage were already in the study room when I walked in with Ashlyn. "Aye, why does she look like an horse vomited on her this morning?" Rage asked smirking. "Lucifer engaged her in one of his numerous punishments." Kill said and they erupted into laughter except Ripper. "I wonder how you come up with those punishments Helldog. It's like you have a big book of torture in your head." Stealth said and the trios laughed again and I smirked. Ashlyn did not have a pleasing look on her face but, she kept quiet. "You're hurt." Ripper said to her noticing her wrist. The wrist I had personally cut. Ash shook her head. "I'm fine." She said. "You should see the pack doctor." Ripper suggested. I was beginning to get angry. His tenderness towards her was suffocating me. Since she stepped into the house,he had been exceptionally friendly to her and it irritated my senses making me think he had a thing for her. "It's okay Ripper. It's nothing to worry ab

Lucifer's POV And here I was going against everything I told myself again. Going against my rule of not coming close to her. Going against my principles and protocols. Women were nothing but sex tools and nothing more. But here she was, weaving me tightly in the perfect trap she has laid out for me. A trap of deceit. A trap to lure me in. I pulled away from her looking at her innocent face. How can such an innocent face, a body so fragile, a mind so feeble be so dubious. Dubious in ways to wrap me around her fingers. Maliciously pulling me in even when I did not want to be pulled in. If I was a devil to her, then she was hell. My hell that I had to bear. My hell I was trying to run away from but constantly failing. She was a temptress. Tempting me into pulling her closer whenever I decide to cast her away from me. Why doesn't she leave me the hell alone? She stared at me with those big bright blue eyes innocently, but I knew better. I knew better that behind those innocent eyes

Ashlyn's POV The next morning was extremely cold that despite shutting the windows, the wind still found a way to seep through due to the rain that fell last night. The cold outside formed a mist frost on the windowpane and I could remember drawing a happy family on it back in Edinburgh and then tiny droplets from the frost would ruin either the face of the children or the parents. I had always drew a happy family back home. I even painted a few, but father called it a waste of time since I was doing it with normal paint unlike Otis. Otis could paint too but he made use of human blood. They always turned out incredible, but the stench were always there. "Mi'lady, it's time to dress." Roselia said walking into my room along with Catriona. Immediately I saw her, I wanted to speak with her but I did not know if it was right to speak to her in the presence of Roselia. Roselia had been here earlier this morning to fix up my hair and while waiting for her, I had gone to stare out the

Ashlyn's POV I sat in the comfort of the carriage and got uncomfortable once in a while whenever we hit a stone. I had a lot of thoughts in my mind. Thoughts of escaping. Thoughts of running far away but I knew otherwise. If I tried to run away now, I'd be caught in no time. With a bunch of lycans following us behind the truck. Also, Lucifer's threats were still lurking in my mind. I had no doubts he would carry out each and every word he said. Running away was something I should think carefully. At least not today, but oh, how it feels good to be outside. Seeing the tall olive trees, rocks and streams. I was finally out of my prison walls. Out of the nostalgic air it possessed that threatened to suffocate me. It was a long, tiring and bumpy ride and when we finally got into Edinburgh, my heart raced as I saw the familiar surroundings of the Royal Mile a far distance away. With this ray of luck, I could easily run home but I knew otherwise. I'd be putting myself and my family in

Ashlyn's POV I walked into the palace and there was the warlord king sitting on chair carved in gold but wasn't a throne. His expression was stern as he conversed with another person who was before him. He looked in his early fifties and yet possessed a sturdiness. I swallowed in nervousness. With this kinda look, how will I convince him? How will such a man believe in my lies? I had the sudden urge to turn around and flee as fast as my legs could carry me. The instant he set his eyes on me, his hard and stern look changed into an expression of lust, desire and greed. All the expression I've seen the men of Royal Mile have on their faces whenever they set their eyes on me. I had no idea I had such power on men except for Lucifer of course. To him I was just a disgusting little vampire he uses for fun. He plays with me like a cat plays with a mouse. The warlord king immediately dismissed the man before him. I smiled pleasantly. My guess earlier was wrong. This could turn out to be

Ashlyn's POV For the first time in my newly miserable life, relief washed over me when I saw Lucifer standing at the entrance door. I was shocked to see two hearts beside him and then, the ringing of the bells outside. The screams made me realized they had succeeded in getting into the strongholds of Dunbar and it reminded me of when my town was taken too. The warlord king stared at me as his eyes slowly darkened. "You brought this upon me? I should have known a woman would be my downfall one day!" He said and reached for his sword that hinged at his waist.I swallowed. He was about to kill me! Just as if Lucifer read his intention, he fired another arrow, hitting him right on his leg. He groaned in pain. His guards started trooping in and they all charged at Lucifer. I expected him to transform but he did not. Instead, his eyes were pure golden and without much efforts, he took the guards down. In swiftness, he snapped off necks, heads, pulled out hearts, ripped off body parts,

Ashlyn's POV I had left the pack house earlier that morning to the river and that was when a shot was fired at me leaving me unconscious. I was regaining consciousness when I heard Lucifer renounce his position as the Laird and when Hawking had let his guard down and I took the chance to take the gun from him without wasting time, I fired the rifle. Hell let loose as bullets and arrows flew around. Lucifer transformed immediately and as an arrow was fired towards me, he stood in front of me, grabbing the arrow and breaking it into two before running over to the shooter to rip his head off. His comrades too had shifted and many of the pack warriors were coming out of the territory. The battle was fierce as the battalion of rebels took over fighting too. Lucifer ex mistresses all charged towards me and had also transformed into their forms except Sofia. Celine transformed into a werewolf and Sia, Juliette and Meredith transformed into Lycanthropes.I let Iona take control and shifte

Roselia's POV I heaved. It was time the Lady knew about the alpha. "Come with me, dear," I said motioning to her to follow me to my room. She did. We got to my room and I locked the door. "Come sit with me." I said holding her hand and leading her to the bed. We both sat down. She had curiosity written allover her. "It was forty decades ago when Queen Katrin, Lucifer's mother was married to Alpha Charles, Lucifer's father and I was her trusted and youngest servant. She was married to him for years without a child and when a decade passed without her still not carrying his child, she decided to go the extra mile just to get a child." I said to her. She stared at me paying rapt attention. "Another year passed again and when she could not get a child from the moon goddess, she went to the witches of the night to get one. That was how she got Lucifer." I said to her and she gasped in shock. "She told me that a pentagram was drawn and the witch she had gone to was a dark witch who co

Ashlyn's POV I sat on the ground in the study room crying my eyes out till noon. If I could believe that he had nothing to do with Celine, why does he not believe that I have nothing to do with Stye? I stood up from the floor wiping my tears. Crying would not solve my problem. I have to prove my innocence. I walked out of the study room and bumped into Celine. "Pardon me," she said, smirking. At that moment, all of my frustrations and anger rose up again. "You bitch!" I said to her in anger as I pulled her by the hair. "Have you gone crazy? Let me go!" She yelled at me. I refused. "Listen to me you nitwit, I know you have a hand in everything happening to me. I just know it." I said to her. She freed herself from my grasp. "Do not accuse me for your infidelity, Ashlyn," she said in anger. "I did not ask you to spread your legs for another man to lay with you." She added snickering. "You know I did not do it. I'll prove my innocence, I promise you." I said to her and she snicke

  • Fated to the Lycan   Chapter sixty five

Ashlyn's POV Three days passed, and today was the day Lucifer was to return back to the house and to me. I was anticipating his return. Ripper, Stealth, and Roselia had played a good part of keeping me out of boredom till he returns. I was seated at the dining area when Roselia brought in a tray having a cup of tea, bread, grits and gravy, sausages and devilled eggs on it. "Is this not too much?" I asked her in surprise as she placed it in front of me. She chuckled. "No, milady. You need to eat more than drink blood." She said to me. I smiled at her. "Thank you." I said to her as I began to munch on the breakfast before me. "You're glowing so much today, milady. I'm sure it's your anticipation for the Laird's return." She said to me smiling and I blushed and nodded. I took a sip from the tea and placed it back on the saucer. Before I could take another bite from the sausage, the urge to throw up took over and I turned aside and vomited blood on the floor. "Oh my, are you alrig

Ashlyn's POV He held me in arms in that position for a long time till my tears could no longer flow down my cheeks. I raised my head up to look at him, and his was filled with warm emotions. He held my chin in between his thumb and index finger. "There's never going to be another woman in my life, Ash. Not in this life or the next." He said to me and I believed him. I should have known it was another scheme of Celine to separate us. I do believe him but why does he not believe me? I opened my mouth to speak, but he stopped me. "Do not say a word." He said as he placed his lips on mine. • Morning approached quickly and the familiar warmth that laid beside me last night was gone and replaced with an empty and cold bed. I opened my eyes and indeed Lucifer was no longer beside me. I got up to a sitting position on the bed and sighed. Then I had a weird feeling that everything was about change. Just then, Lucifer walked into my room. The door was still broken and unfixed. He was a

Ashlyn's POVIt was noon when I finally stepped out of my room. I walked down the stairs feeling very famished. Hungry for food and a little blood too. I walked into the kitchen to find Roselia making lunch with a few helps in the kitchen too. "Just a few minutes, milady and lunch would be ready." She said just as if she knew why I was here. I chuckled as I went towards a tin of biscuits. "I can have this till lunch is ready init?" I asked her. She smiled. "Yes, milady." She said. I opened the tin of biscuits and munched on a few before heading out of the kitchen. Maybe I should speak to Lucifer and see if I could get a bag of blood or two. I walked towards the living room and saw Alpha Hawking walking into the house with his beta beside him. His eyes lit the instant he saw me. "My days on earth have been blessed to have seen the goddess of beauty herself this noon." He said to me. I faked a smile at his flattery. I really do not know why Lucifer trusted this man when everything

  • Fated to the Lycan   Chapter sixty two

Lucifer's POV I sat on the couch rubbing my aching neck the next morning. I was not fully awake yet due to the fact that I had a very uncomfortable and sleepless night. I had slept on the couch due to my anger towards Ash, and now I was regretting it. Maybe I should not have gone to sleep while still upset with her but, I just could not believe what she had come up with just for me to look past her mistake. Steel too had added to my sleepless night with his talks and anger toward me. I was glad he finally kept quiet this morning. "Did you sleep on the couch?" I heard Celine's voice and looked up to see her standing behind a couch opposite me. I groaned. "Yeah, I did," I said to her. "On your wedding night?" She asked raising a brow. I frowned at her. "Are you here to mock me or say something better?" I asked her. I was not in a big mood for taunts or teasing. She knew very well I did not get married yesterday. "Why would I mock you, Lucifer? You claim she's your mate and she cl

Ashlyn's POV He was no longer wearing his wedding attire, but his usual signature look. Long black breeks, knee boots and sleeves unbuttoned to his chest. "Satisfied your cravings?" He asked me, not in a cold, harsh or sweet way. I could not tell what he was thinking, for he was not portraying any emotions. I shook my head. "I did not do it. I controlled myself." I said to him. Anger flashed in his eyes and he quickly masked it. "Good for you." He said rising to his feet and walked past me. "I'm sorry." I said turning around to his retreating figure. I did not know if he wanted an apology, but to me he deserved it. He turned around sharply and this time I could see his emotions. It was anger and he was trying to control it. "For what?" He asked in pretense. "For leaving when the wedding was still in hold." I replied, looking down at my feet. The smell of blood was not gone and I was beginning to wonder where it was from. "Spare me." He said, walking away. "Lucifer, please, I'

Ashlyn's POV Dawn took extremely too long to come and I guessed it was due to my over excitement for today. Noon did the same thing and when evening slowly approached, I was seated in front of the vanity mirror with Roselia and a couple other ladies beside me. Catriona had returned back to her homeland with her brother and it was crazy how much I missed having her around. Right now, I was surrounded by ladies I see in the pack, but do not know them and that I had barely associated with. It was all going to change when I finally become the Lady of the house. The Luna of the Nightwing pack. Fuss was made over my nails of what nail polish color would fit perfectly on it. I let them make the fuss cause I did not care much about it. It did turn out great and my toe nails were given a nude nail polish color after mi
