“Lily??” asked Jisung opening his eyes a little when he regained his consciousness.

“Jisung. Good boy!! Stay awake. Hyun Jin is on his way” said Lily in a small voice while stroking his hair with one hand and holding his other hand.

“This is where I died” said Jisung looking at the place in fear.

“What???” asked Lily in shock.

Jisung’s breath came back to normal. He was less shivering and his eyes were opened a bit more. A tear fell down on his cheek when he looked Lily in the eye.

“This is where I died and became a vampire” said Jisung in small tone but Lily didn’t reply.

He sat on the ground comfortably still holding Lily’s hand.

“I was 22 years old and Mia was 14. Mia was my younger sister, by the way. It’s been a while, it was the time when people were suffering from plague. Half of our village people were suffering from that deadly disease.
