Angel was spending time with Mom to learn Luna duties.

She did have a good point that my brother and I were raised, knowing that we would become Alphas. We were trained since we were pups in how to run a pack. That did not mean that we were truly ready or anything.

Dad became Alpha when he was eighteen when his own father was killed. It was supposedly because of a rogue attack but turned out that it was one of many traitors that the pack had back in the day. Identifying and handling traitors was actually one of our biggest Alpha lessons.

Gabriel and I knocked on Dad’s office door. It swung open to reveal Uncle Apollo. He gave us a regal wave to enter the office. He was one of our favorite uncles. Uncle Dante was number one, but Uncle Apollo was a very close second.

“Welcome, Alphas. Come on in. We’ve got gifts,” Dad said, putting his arms behind his head and leaning back in his chair.
