“REMO,” I called out. He materialized almost immediately. “Find Angel,” I commanded.

He let out a growl and shook his head, sharing with me that he could not find her either.

My heart sank because he should have been able to find her even if we could not. His connection as her guardian was appointed by the Hades, the God of the Underworld. Hellhounds should always be able to find their charges. It was literally in their fucking DNA.

My brother and I exchanged a look, and I knew we were thinking of the same thing. The warnings, the visions, all of it. We should not have let her out of our sight, but we did. Now, we had no idea where the fuck she was or who she was with.
