The last couple of weeks had gone smoothly. Elle was fully recovered except for some wariness when crossing streets, but nobody could blame her for that. I would be more worried if she did not have any wariness.

The teen driver had nearly been destroyed by the guilt on his conscience. Luckily, Elle was able to talk him into attending counseling so that he could heal from this.

If he had been an adult instead of a teenager, the punishment would have included the cells for an extended length of time. He was not being given a pass, but this was an ideal learning experience that could lead to a transformation that would make him even stronger.
