Fated to the Alpha Demon

(Collision of two different worlds) 

Chapter five 

Ava POV 

I’m done bathing already, and the only thing keeping me long is me not finding a suitable cloth to wear. Have never been to any party in my life or any occasion that requires a classy nice wear or dress; all my dresses are casual. And so I settled finally on a simple yellow kneel length gown, with a dark medium sized wedge. I straightened my white long hair with my bare hands. No makeup because I don’t have any or even knows how to apply them, I walked out of my room heading to the school hall; where I have no idea it’s located. 

I kept walking till I found this shy cute girl, she was alone, so talking to her and asking her a question should be easy. “Hey!” I greeted, trying to sound nice because talking to her feels like a knife plucked deep inside my throat. 

She looked up at me, her face void of emotion. “Don’t tryna be friends with me because I’m alone. I don’t need anyone’s friendship.” She said turning her face away me, I gave her a really loud scoff. “I wanted to ask where the hall is located only.” I tolled a plain reply. 

“What care do I give with you and the hall and-“

“Sssshh, you’re one of the main reason I hate people, just tell me where the hall is, other than you telling a crying story.” I cut her off, I was pissed at her. 

“Down the hallway, to the left.” She said standing up, and she left me there standing. 

Down the hallway to the left, where’s the hallway itself, she could have give me the perfect description of how or what the hall really looks like. I don’t think that should be hard for me to locate. I walkedbdown the narrow hallway where I was; this is the dorm hallway. I kept walking straight and branch right at the end of the dorm hallway, the left leads outside and so I assume the right will lead to the main school, truly I came right in the big hallway. 

I was getting exhausted already from the constant walk, have never walk this long in my entire life. I got to the entrance and felt so restricted, I took a deep breath before going inside. 

Two students showed up immediately in front of me. “Your invitation blondie or super whitie?” She stretched out her palm, she was holding a cup with some content inside, and probably drunk with the way she sound. 

“Invitation? I don’t have any invitation, I’m just a finalist attending a party; cos I heard it for finalists.” She looked at me from the head to the toe and back up. “You don’t seem like one.” 

“That because nobody knows me.” I replied, not minding the other girl’s intense gaze on me. “Just let her in, she’s probably one of those nerds, she’s seriously boring me out.” The other girl finally said, scoffing at the last part. 

“Yeah come on in.” They both parted ways, giving me a space to go in. I curved a faux smile walking past them and going fully inside. 

I was first met with the blinding red disco light roaming round the small hall; I pictured this hall to be big not small. The small hall structure had the whole hall crowded and full really with students, my eyes kept roaming round the hall looking for one particular guy; a bit tall, moist pink lips, face like that or a demigod, and goes by the name Trey. I have no idea what kind of music they’re playing, but many students here are dancing really to it. 

I stood transfixed there on my position, not moving a leg or my entire body. Suddenly the beat went down, and a guy went up to a place at the center middle of the hall with a mic in his hand. “Attention!” He yelled into the mic, having everyone’s attention; including mine. “If yuh really gonna be graduating here tomorrow, c’mon and make some noise!” The whole hall was filled with a loud deafening noise immediately he said that. 

This party so far is killing me, they’re a giving me ick of the ickiest right now. I saw a table just at the far end of the hall, I quickly made my way through the crowds going there. I got there but met a guy there already, his head was bent down in a thinking manner. I took a seat with a deep sigh dropping down my mouth. 

He seems to notice that someone is there with him, I can tell he just raised up his head looking at me, because I could feel his eyes on him so I turned over to also take a quick glance at him. Lo and behold, Trey Connor was sitting right opposite me, staring at me with the most gorgeous ocean blue eyes have ever seen before. 

“H……..” I couldn’t complete my sentence, because I was lost in his gaze, he’s just so handsome and cute. Talking about his appearance, his pointed nose, his gorgeous man lips, his perfectly shaped jaw, and a well carved eyebrow arching up at me, his lips are parted. 

“Get a hold of yourself Ava, and talk to him already” a tiny voice in my head reminded.

“I’m Ava.”

“I’m Trey.” We introduced ourselves at the same time. A proof that this is magical.

“Do you like wanna get out of this boring party, and like get to know me more.” He said, his voice gorgeous as ever. “Or get to know each other, you know… or me… it fine if you wanna wait…”

“Sure I would love that.” I cut him off the rubbish he’s blabbering. We stood up together existing the stupid hall. 

“Follow me.” He said and led us to a very quiet place, a place where we get to see the stars sparkles. We are at the school top, it’s so quiet and chilly here. 

“Come, sit with me if you won’t mind.” He patted an empty space beside him. Mind he just say, I won’t mind cuddling him right now; I’m freaking in love with you. 

“I need to tell you something!” We said simultaneously to each other. I chuckled with a light blush. “Okay you should go first.” He calm gorgeous voice urged me.

“I don’t know if you remember this, but I met you seven years ago, on a school bus coming to this school, when we were still kids ‘I’d say.” He kept his stare glued to me, then smile. 

“I cannot forget that moment, I was forever holding on to it, I thought I won’t see you again and I never did until now.” He huffed with a painful smile stretching across his face.

“I’m just gonna say this, because tomorrow we be my last day here, Trey Connor; yeah I know your name, have been in love with you for the past seven years we first met each other, you’re all I think about throughout my lonely days…..” I kept on saying and talking about how much I love him. 

He stood up holding my hands. “Don’t say it, I know you don’t love-“ and he shut me up with a passionate slow kiss. My brain went numbed, stars and moons appears right in front of me, I was too shocked to kiss back, he pulled away some seconds later. 

“Uhmmm…..” he scratched the back of his head, I smiled so bright; one of my dreams just came through. I pulled him close by myself bending his head to my level, then slam my lips back with his alongside my hands wrapped around his neck, I felt him sliding his arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him with both of us deepening the kiss. 

I’m swimming in nothing but beautiful stars. This is such a big dream come true, me kissing my forever crush.
