It was hard to see my hands and although Felix's magic was still keeping me warm, I still felt the slap of the wind. My legs dug into the snow and sank so deep that it took a long time before I could pull it out.

“That's the palace." Nolaine said

I looked at all of them, they were all in front of me and I was the only one struggling to walk. They were the cool guys and I was trying my best to keep up and not look stupid while doing it.

They were all in black, they were armed from top to bottom and I wouldn't even be surprised if they had blades stuffed into their mouths.

Me on the other hand was not to be trusted with a pocket knife because I could cut myself. Vinx turned to me and held out his hand, it took time before I could reach him.

I looked up at the palace and I couldn't see it but of course, I would not admit this to any of them. I only saw snow and fog.
