Vinx

Vinx winked at me while Kalum grinned. I turned around and went to the bathroom. I sank myself in the tub, just staring at the wall in front of me.

I shampooed my hair and stepped out once I rinsed everything out. It was hard not to wince as I walked. I got dressed and went downstairs. I heard voices in the living room and the loud clicking of heels. I thought it would be my mother but it turned out to be a stranger.

She stopped in her tracks and stared at me.

“Where are your masters?."

“Huh?."

“Where are your bosses, are they in their rooms?... Gosh, I hope I'm not too late."

Her lips were painted a harlot red, her eyes were green and big. She was pretty. She had beautiful long brown hair.

“Don't you speak... Oh my gosh, you're mute?."

“I'm not mute. Vinx and Kalum left like almost an hour ago."

“Mhhmm. Get me a cup of coffee. Black, no sugar or cream."
