The actual leap

I walked past a big silver door. I opened the door and found out that this place had cubes but not the kind we were put in many days ago.

“Rainee... Oh my gosh, Rainee... My baby."

“Mum— Cynthia."

She ran to the glass and pressed her face and body on it.

“Rainee baby, can you hear me clearly?."

I nodded

“You need to get me out of here Rainee, please."

I walked out of the room, listening to her pleas.

I followed a line of halls I had never been to this part of the palace before.

“It might be dangerous so we'll go one at a time."

“Can't we just go in the traditional way?."

“We would not be able to pull her out if we go in the traditional way."

I stopped in my tracks and closed my eyes, relief washed through me like a wave.

I took a peek and saw Nax and Yoda wearing blue suits. They reached out for the elevator in sync and they laughed at their twin magic.

Yoda withdrew her hand and Nax pressed the button.

“What's wrong Nax, you look sad. Is it about Mum?."

“I'm fine Yoda." He said cryp
