I wrote the letter and carefully folded it. I dropped it under my bed and wondered if anybody would find it, if Felix would ever find it was a big impossibility.

I did not even have the time to give him any clues.

I walked back to Ayana's bedroom and carried out our bags.

She was walking behind me, wearing a black cloak.

I need to protect her, the hardest part right now would be leaving the palace.

If we leave, our journey would not necessarily be easy but it wouldn't be this hard.

We got to the back door and everything was quiet.

“Khan." Ayana cried fearfully

“Baby, just keep walking. Don't turn back."

We walked down the hallway that stretched further and further away.

It was semi dark, but only a few candles.

I heard footsteps in front of my heart kick against my chest.

I turned to one of the doors in the hallway and grabbed Ayana's hand. I opened the door and we rushed Inside together.

She pressed her back against the wall of the storeroom and started breathing fast.
