Chapter Seventy Eight: Take whatever the hell you want.

I slept with the burning feeling of his actions burning in my chest. But surprisingly, I woke up feeling better and less disturbed about the things that happened yesterday.

Amanda was out when I got in, and thankfully, I was able to avoid her questioning gaze, Father had come in quite late, too, and only dropped to wish me a good night before retiring for the day.

I still had no idea about my laptop and how I was going to retrieve it, or if it was even possible. I had lodged a complaint on the website, and I was told that a customer service agent would respond to me, but it's been forty-eight hours, and I've heard nothing from them. And quite frankly, I am beginning to lose hope that they'd ever respond.

I headed straight for the kitchen after brushing my teeth, in the heat of yesterday and all its drama, I couldn't bring myself to swallow anything so easy to say, I was starving, and I had no idea what to eat.
