Renee's POV

Joey gave me a small smile as he walked over. He was still very cautious bringing his hands forward to hand me the rags.

I slowly walked over and raised my hands to take the rags. I made sure to graze his hand as I did.

I looked into his eyes while still touching his hand and gave him a sweet smile.

It had the effect I was looking for; I could see desire burning in his eyes. I brought a rag to my face and started wiping off the dried blood the best I could. He was watching me intently.

I went and placed the other rags on my cot, before turning back towards Joey. I was fighting my stomach, trying not to puke as I stared into his eyes then pulled my shirt off.

His jaw almost hit the floor and his eyes raked over my body darkening in desire. I tossed my shirt on the cot and picked up a rag. I started wiping my chest as if I didn't notice. I could still feel his eyes on me, I did my best to not think about it too much. I wiped off my neck before I grabbed another rag and

Alpha Ethan (POV) We had been hiding in the undergrowth for close to thirty minutes. All our senses where on edge searching for any perceivable change. But so far everything was quiet. Come on Renee, where are you? I was thinking to myself when I got a link. "My plan is working; I will hopefully see you soon." Renee's voice like music to my ears but before I could even respond she cut the link. "Be ready, her plan is working" I link to everyone else. I could barely see the pack house with various trees and small rises in the terrain blocking it. I kept looking for any possible signs of strange movements. We continued waiting, then about ten minutes later a bunch of wolves started rushing into the house. "This could be it, be at the ready" and before I could even finish the link something came out of a third story window of the pack house. Followed by another large thing they collided in midair. Before falling harshly to the ground below. Then I heard security howls coming from a

Renee's POVI instinctively put my hands out to protect myself from Joey in wolf form. He jumped out the window after me and I could tell we were going to collide. His neck got caught on the chain of the shackles holding his head away from me. But it didn't stop his body from slamming into me as we fell to the ground. Why did it feel like everything it was in slow motion? Must just the adrenaline? I grabbed his fur and pulled trying to change our position in the air. If he landed on top of me, I might be to injured and unable to run.I successfully flipped our position before we landed on the ground with a thud. He whimpered in pain and was stunned. Luckily, I landed on the pillow of his body before springing up to run towards Ethan.I heard howls sounding off in every direction. It was an alert that I had escaped. Damn it! I had to get out of here fast, before I had a bunch of wolves breathing down my neck. I had only made it about ten feet away from where we had landed. When I felt

Alpha Ethan (POV) We kept fighting pushing them back. "Alpha, how can she even make it out with all these wolves?" Amber links me "I don't know, but I'm not leaving until there is no other option!" I growl through the link as I snap another wolf's leg throwing them away."Let me go!" I hear Renee's voice echo around the forest. She was close but someone had her. Damn this barrier, I felt weak unable to help her. I roar loudly causing a few wolves near me to turn and run away. I walked forward to get closer to the field. I could see Renee running but a wolf was close on her tail. He lunged at her back and my heart caught in my chest. Then I saw her quickly turn and push her hands out in defense and to my surprise the wolf stopped in midair, then was pushed back flying the other direction. My jaw dropped before I smiled to myself. I guess she got her gifts. I didn't have time to enjoy it for long, before three wolves lunged towards me. I continued throwing the wolves back, but the

Renee’s POV I had the strangest dream. I was in a small village; I am guessing it was some time in 1800's based on the clothing I and the people around me were wearing. I was walking towards the edge of town. I kept turning my head back as if I was making sure I wasn't followed. It was dusky outside and the sun was almost down. I waited for a little bit, but no one seemed to notice me. I gathered up my skirts and started sprinting towards the woods. I kept running until I reached a small cottage in the woods. "I was scared you wouldn't come." A voice comes from behind me. It was smooth and sweet."My family knows, Victor, and they aren't happy about it, they said they are going to the Wolf king." I say while turning to face a tall, pale, handsome man. "How did they find out?" He asks while tensing up and looking around."My mother she" my voice caught as tears started pouring out of my eyes. "She smelled my sheets and recognized it as pigs blood. She knew it wasn't mine." "We must

Renee's POV Ethan scooped me off the bed and brought us into the bathroom. I was still filthy, and my dirty clothes were still on me, with the addition of a hospital gown now tied to my top half. "How long was I out?" I question "About ten hours" Ethan replied lowering his arm to set me down, letting me slide against his body. Which made me want to moan. Once I was standing, I turned towards him and put my hands on his chest, before looking into his gorgeous deep brown eyes. "You are going to join me, right?" I ask"Like there is anything, that would stop me." He replied while stepping forward, pushing me against the wall, he put his hands against the wall boxing me in, surrounding me with his scent, then he leaned down and locked his lips with mine. When he pulled away, I turned around and brought my hair forward so he could untie my gown and unhook my bra. He took the hint but, didn't waste time untying anything and ripped them both off instead. I turned to face him before s

Alpha Ethan POV I could see Renee hesitate, she looked scared and worried. I tried to give her time and not push. Part of me feared her answer. If he did anything else to her, I don't think I could stop myself from tracking him down and ripping his head off. "Whatever it is, it won't change us." I state hoping to comfort her.She opens her mouth to speak before closing it again, no sound coming out. I can see her take a deep breath her chest rising slightly. Then she looks into my eyes before finally speaking. "There, there is so much, and I don't want to hurt you, but I also think you need to know everything. So at least you know and maybe it will put your mind to ease." She states watching me intently "I don't think...." she pauses again words catching in her throat. "I don't think, I will be able to hold it together telling you everything, I would rather show you and since we are mates that should be possible now, right?" She questions looking at me. "Yes, even if we haven't ma

  • Fated to be Luna   Chapter 45

Renee's POV I am still holding my fingers to Ethan's temples. Focusing on transferring the last of the memories of my escape, before I made it back to him. It been about five minutes since we began. Memory transfers play out much faster than you actually living them. The downside is you can experience a lot of emotions in just a few minutes time. It can definitely take a toll on you or, so I have been told. I wasn’t even sure if this would work, but I am relieved that it is. Memory links are similar to mind links except they can only be shared between mates. I finish the transfer with me going through the barrier and then I hold my breath and lean away from his face watching him intently waiting for him to come out of my memories. I start second guessing myself and this decision. What if I transferred too much, it was a lot to process. He was still in a daze. I start scooting off his lap scared that I had hurt him somehow. Then I feel his hands wrap around my body pulling me to him

  • Fated to be Luna   Chapter 46

Unknown POVI arrived at the Grey Lake pack ready to claim my prize. Alpha Joey had reported back that he was successful, and I came with haste to finally seize my revenge. I pulled up to the pack house and could see an omega wolf cleaning up some glass beside the house. No doubt broke during some stupid fight for dominance. Wolves are always such testy creatures. It is amazing they ever get anything done with their lack of self-control.I popped out my black umbrella and held it over my head, before proceeding to the front door. The wolf at the door nodded to me before telling me. "The Alpha, is in his office" I nodded my head in return and headed straight for the elevator. Ugh this place reeked of wet dog. So disgusting, I thought to myself as I waited for the elevator to arrive. I pinched my nose hoping to block out the smell. Werewolves are nothing but glorified guard dogs. Finally, the elevator arrived and took me to the third floor. The office I needed was only a few doo

Epilogue Esther’s Point of ViewIt has been one year since the battle for Renee’s life. After what happened I couldn’t bring myself to leave Southern Illinois. So much has happened and so much has changed. I almost didn’t get to the wand in time, and I guess for Victor I didn’t. He would have made a great great great honestly I’m not sure how many greats grandfather to little Vickie but he sacrificed himself to save Alpha Ethan. When I removed immortality on Earth all the vampires returned to human and as far as I can tell I’m also aging again. Ethan and Renee opened the pack grounds to any once vampires that wished to stay and adjust to being human once again. Some staid while many others rushed back home as quickly as they could. Dimitri and myself decided to stay and I’m for the first time in my life truly happy. I have a little baby bump of my own now and I can’t express how excited I am to be a mother after all these years. Renee has blossomed in her roll as Luna and the pa

  • Fated to be Luna   Chapter 83

Renee’s Point of View The first wave was a horrible mess as the untrained vampires rushed forward their mouths practically unhinging as they tried to bite whatever they could. They were a chaotic mess, but thankfully we were prepared for just that, we fell back several paces to give the illusion that we were struggling. By the time it was over there were only minor injuries to report. The next wave however came rushing forward like a tidal wave. We had no sooner finished off the first wave before they were on us they were better trained and much more difficult to hold off. “Come on Esther, what is taking so long?” I questioned under my breath. We were trying to wait as long as possible before using the flood lights as it would inevitably kill many of the vampires and if Esther succeeded they would all be saved from that fate. Unfortunately we couldn’t wait any longer and Ethan had no choice but to issue the order. The screams that echoed will forever haunt my mind. As they evapor

Esther’s point of view Once I reached the location where I had hid the wand all those years ago, I was really wishing I hadn’t put a spell on it blocking it from magical recovery. There were mere minutes before the sun would set on Renee’s pack territory and I was looking at a research center sitting on top of the site where I hid the wand. I couldn’t believe my eyes out of all the places, here is where they placed their stupid huts. I knew the wand was still here I could sense it’s energy. I just had to figure out how to move the research pod that was sitting on top of it. “Damn it, I don’t have time for this I muttered under my breath” as I tried to think of the best course of action. I ran up to the window of the pod to take a peek. I could see at least three people inside. I decided things would be easier if they were unconscious so I cast a spell as watched as they all passed out. I ran back from the building a lifted my hands bringing the pod up a couple inches and scooting

Luna Renee’s Point of View As I stood waiting for whatever hell was about to be released I tried to run everything Dimitri had said about Vampire tactics through my mind. The vampires including my father couldn’t fight with us here with the uv flood lights that we had in store for the vampires, but they all did their best to prepare us and help us train. The Vampires on our side planned to circle around behind the lines to help us without being in our strong hold. Dimitri said they would send their least experienced soldiers first, it would test our strength and cause chaos. They instructed that it would be best to try to fight them off without revealing any of the traps we had set. They said we would be able to handle the first wave easily but to make it appear like it was hard giving a false sense of security to the next wave. This wave would be much better trained. This is where we could start using our traps and me to fight back. The hope was the second wave would rush forward th

  • Fated to be Luna   Chapter 80

*Esther’s POV I had been trudging through snow for over a day and a half now, I was frozen to the core and really wishing I picked out a warmer location to hide the wand of destiny. To make matters worse there was a snow storm blowing in and I had less than an hour to get the wand and cast a spell to remove immortality from Earth, before the Vampire would most likely be attacking Renee’s pack. Luckily the plane ride, boat ride, and dog sled ride here had given me plenty of time to work on the wording for the spell. I wanted to make sure there weren’t any loop holes. I only had 5 more miles to go but they wouldn’t be easy. I hid the wand in the most remote place in the world I could think of somewhere that no one should ever be able to find it. However that made getting there near impossible, if it wasn’t for having magic I never would have made it this far. To occupy my brain I just kept repeating the spell over and over in my head. “To the God above grant me this, remove immoral

Esther’s point of view“Can I talk to you a minute, alone?” Dimitri questioned looking at me. “Yes” I answered standing up to walk into the hall with him. When we reached the hallway and closed the door behind us Dimitri turned to me and asked “can we be overheard?” “No” I answered “Ok good, then let me ask what in the hell are you thinking, we are talking about Renee here, we are talking about the end of the world!” He yelled “and what your plan is to just sit by and watch it happen?” “You know I made a promise.” I answered “Sometimes promises have to be broken, and I would say this is definitely one of those times.” “I guess you are right.” I answered reluctantly. “How long will it take you to get to the wand?” Dimitri asked. “At the very least three days.” I answered “but even if I get the wand I’m not sure how to fix everything.” “What do you mean?” Dimitri questioned “can’t you just make it where the angels can’t possess Renee and her children.” “Well sure that will ta

  • Fated to be Luna   Chapter 78

Esther’s Point of View“Many, many years ago I was apart of a secret group called the Seven we were tasked with protecting valuable, powerful and dangerous artifacts. Such as the ark of the covenant to name one.” I sighed before taking a big breath “but ultimately we failed when a fallen angel tracked us and attacked us with the goal of taking over the world. His plan was to make two new species each modeled after his daughters personalities to be his army on earth, Using the power he gained from the artifacts especially one from Jesus’s lost years which is a powerful wand. I was afraid if their eyes widened anymore they would pop from their sockets as I told my tale. So this fallen Angel made his new species using other members of the Seven my family and from my family he created Vampires and Werewolves representing each of his half human daughter’s. But before he could use his new species to create and army I was able to recover the wand, using it myself to stop him. I basically

Esther’s point of view Silas didn’t have time to answer as I noticed Renee coming to in my arms.“Renee! Renee? Can you hear me?” Yes, why are you talking so loud.” She answered with an annoyed voice, bringing her fingers to her temples. “Oh thank goodness!” I said pulling her closer to me. “You mean thank Goddess don’t you, seeing as I’m part Goddess.” Renee rambled with her eyes still closed as she rubbed her temples. “What?” I questioned confused, truth serum doesn’t make you high. What was Renee talking about? “Yep I’m the daughter of the moon goddess, and she needs my baby to keep everyone safe.” Blood rushed to my head and I felt lightheaded, my past flashing in front of me as I realized what was actually at stake. “What is she talking about?” Silas questioned. “This can’t be possible” I mumbled under my breath, trying to piece everything together. Why would the “Moon Goddess” impart her DNA in Renee and why was Renee’s baby important to her plan. In that moment Ethan a

Esther’s point of viewWhen I saw Renee pass out I acted quickly and was able to catch her before her body crinkled onto the ground. A “No” echoed in the field around us and I scanned the area trying to find the source. “Who goes there?” I shouted scanning the area once more. I sent an alert in my head to Alpha Ethan not knowing if there was a threat or what has caused Renee to pass out. “It’s just me” a familiar voice filled the air and I turned to the source. I could see Silas stepping out from behind a tree. “Silas?” I questioned confused. I couldn’t help but notice he didn’t seem to have his mandatory escort with him. “I’m sorry Esther it wasn’t meant for her” he stated cautiously stepping forward. “What do you mean?” I questioned still confused, then I saw his eyes flash down to Renee “what have you done?” I questioned anger and fear coursing through my body. “The water was meant for you” he stated Once again I was confused until I looked down and saw the water I had given
