*ASA TRINE*

“How are you feeling today, sir?”

The nurse asked as she closed the door behind her. She had a cart full of medicines that she was probably rolling around to give to all the patients and stopping by Clay’s table she placed a small dish of few tablets and poured out a glass of water for him.

I am sure she recognized who she was catering to and the smile that glittered on her face was the perfect evidence for that.

Clay hadn’t bothered to even give her a glance unlike how he usually would have acted. The charm and charisma that he flattered the women around him with was completely absent.

This didn’t seem to bother the nurse and neither did she notice it much as she tugged on her dress to emphasize her chest. She then bent down to bring her face in level with his, giving him, and disgustingly me, a magnificent view of her plump chest.

“It’s time for your medicines, sir,” she said, her voice coming out sultry and rolling my eyes I tried to decide whether I should stop her fr

*ASA TRINE*“It’s time for your medicines, sir.”The nurse that greeted us the next morning was a male nurse who smiled at the two of us, placed the medicine on the side table and instructing me to feed it to Clay then walked out of the door without so much as a retreating glance.“Seems like you don’t have to worry about those women anymore,” I commented in a hopeful manner as I went to hand him the medicines.“Are you trying to get rid of me?” he asked, pouting uncharacteristically and looking away at the unnatural expression I shook my head to get rid of its image in my head. I really did wish that he would stop calling me now if those ladies weren’t coming to irritate him.“Hey, stop making that face!”I said, still not get used to these gentle and playful expressions that he sent my way after all the glares and scorns. I had obviously seen it on his face before but he had never once looked at me that way and each time he did now, I felt my judgment against him crumbling.Has he r

*ASA TRINE*“Are you sure you feel strong enough to walk on your own?” I asked, worriedly looking at him take small steps, as the two of us strolled together. At my words he glanced at me and smiling he said, “I really love it when you worry about me but I am honestly alright. The doctor suggested that I should get some fresh air and walking will also help me to feel refreshed.”I knew all that but still I couldn’t help but worry. The act of suicide hadn’t taken a toll on his body physically and mentally as much as it had hurt his wolf. The spiritual power in him which maintains the vigor and strength of a wolf had weakened significantly as he had gone against the laws of nature and Moon Goddess in trying to take his own life. Therefore internally his body had been very weak and any small action would also be counted as strenuous in this period.‘Asa please don’t feel so guilty again. You know he doesn’t blame you for it,’ Xara said trying to make me feel better but the remorse of my

*ASA TRINE*“Cain please stop!” I cried out as soon as we entered our room. I had been quiet all this while afraid that our neighbors would hear us and speculate that something had gone wrong between us but our room had been soundproofed like every other bedroom in this pack and I could freely talk to him now.“Let go of my hand,” I hissed as I tried to get him to lose his grip. My wrist had grown red and I was afraid that he would leave some deep finger marks on it. I knew he would regret it later when he would see it.I understood when he was angry to find me there with Clay but to drag me all the way here to our home and still not have spoken even a word to me really started to piss me off.“Shut up!” he shouted in my face, the amount of anger that radiated from him scared me but I was more frightened that the nerve ticking in his forehead would pop anytime now.Throwing me on the bed when he saw me cower he didn’t give me time to back away and caging me in between his arms he gla

*ASA TRINE*My heart was pounding in my chest. The water that poured over me made me blink my eyes a couple of times as I tried to make sense of the situation. My head was spinning; a knot was tightening in my stomach, and despite the cold water I felt droplets of sweat emerge from my forehead.I wanted to move away but I was scared to even move a single hair on my body in fear that the dick that was staring at me would be forced inside my mouth.I had seen him naked before, countless times and I had always admired his physique and beauty but I had never once seen it up so close. His dick was completely stiff and jutted straight near my mouth, less than an inch away. I could feel the warmth it radiated and I was pretty sure Cain must have been able to feel my breath over its tip too for his breathing was erratic. His pulsating member emitted a musky scent stronger than anything I had smelt before and a rushed tingle ran through my body. I didn’t like what was happening to me under t

*ASA TRINE* I didn’t want to see him.Right now, I had been hiding in the closet taking as much time as I could to get dressed. After taking a shower and coming out of the bathroom he had instructed me to get dressed as he sat on the bed scrolling through his phone. He hadn’t even looked at me when I had come out and I was slightly grateful to have been spared from the hatred that had been playing in his eyes. I tried listening for his breathing, wishing that he had already slept but I could sense the constant change in them with his emotions. “Are you talking to him hiding in there?” he asked and immediately getting to my feet and banging open the door I shouted, “Stop it! I am not cheating on you!”His gaze narrowed at me on my sudden burst and I instinctively took a step back in case I would have to lock myself up in the closet if he tried anything again.“And how am I supposed to believe that?” he asked spreading his legs open as he leaned forward with his fingers intert

*ASA TRINE*This is the most awkward experience that I have had in my entire life. The situation right now was, that Cain still wasn’t talking to me as much as before, the twins weren’t talking to each other just like before, and Cain wouldn’t let Clay talk to me anymore.“Asa could you give me a glass of-”An irritated growl stopped Clay from saying anything further as he glared at his brother. I could see that though patient in the beginning he was slowly starting to lose it and shaking my head at the two of them I poured out the water and passed it to Clay. This action of mine elicited a smile out of Clay while Cain frowned at me.“Why did you listen to him?” Cain accused probably feeling sad that I had just gone against him in front of his hated brother. The ego game that the two had been playing was of no interest to me and huffing I replied, “This my job, Cain. This is the only reason why I am here.”Bizarrely, at my words instead of complaining like he usually would have, he sm

*ASA TRINE* Cain’s anger had turned for the worse. After what had happened yesterday his insecurity had visibly increased for even when he was angry with me he still couldn’t bear to keep me away.“You must be so happy to find your dear ex-mate’s wound to have healed so soon, right? It’s only because of your care that this miracle could have happened at least that’s what he claims,” he sarcastically jabbed at me as he clutched my hand tighter in his hold.It was around nine in the morning and Cain and I was just entering the hospital. Usually, I would have come way earlier than this but Cain didn’t let me get out of bed until eight and then took his precious time demanding to eat the perfect pancakes especially made by me.He had made me make it at least three times before he felt it was right and that was only because he could visibly see me getting irritated with him. I wanted to scold him for acting so childish but he was playing with my words and emotions better than I had eve

*ASA TRINE*“Asa?” Clay’s touch on my hand instantly jostled me out of my buzzing mind. Bringing my attention to him I found that he had been staring at me in worry and smiling at him I apologized, “I am sorry, what were you saying?”“No, it’s nothing important but are you okay?” he asked carefully as he observed me with his deep eyes. His words and his concern took me back to this morning when I was leaving for the hospital.*FLASHBACK*We silently got dressed had our breakfast and kept our talks to the minimum like we had been doing these mournful days. I had been glancing at Cain every few seconds in, hoping that he would drop that scowl and smile at me and tell me that he had forgiven me for lying to him and that he trusted me but it was too far-fetched for me to want that and I knew it.It was only when we were leaving the house that I noticed he wasn’t following me as he would have and turning to look at him I saw him standing fifteen steps behind me.“You never are aware of m

*ASA TRINE* “Come on, hurry up Devin, you can’t be this slow!” Leia scolded him and the sound of it came all the way up the stairs making me stifle a laugh. “You look beautiful, miss,” Ross said gaining my attention as he helped me with my skirt that had wrinkled below. “Oh no, Ross please don’t do that I don’t want you hurting your waist,” I said as I tried to stop him, but it was no use the old man had been so used to taking care that even after giving him retirement from all his work he would still find something to do. “Michael! That’s not right! The cake should be here!” she shouted again as I heard Michael shuffling around and again I tried to stop my laughter from filtering through at my sister's frustrated antics. “Its time to go down, Miss,” Ross said as he smiled at me and hooking my arm around his I took his help to carefully step down the steps as I saw Cain standing there at the end of it with little Kiara in his hands. She looked adorable in her frock that she had b

*ASA TRINE* “You called us, dad?” I asked peeping in. Nodding his head at me he motioned for us to sit down and filtering in I noticed that Luna had also been there looking through some books as she smiled at our presence. “I am sorry that I am late,” Clay’s voice filtered in but he stopped soon after when he saw the two of us already seated there, “I swear I haven’t done anything this time.” “We know that you haven’t done anything Clay, we are not here to complain about you,” Cain said huffing at his brother but a smile slipped on his face and I wondered if it would be right to separate these two brothers when their relations had only just started improving. “Well then what is this family reunion for?” he asked as he sat down on a chair beside Cain looking at his dad with a questioning look making Cain and I fix him with that same gaze. “Can’t I just miss my children?” Alpha asked as he looked at us and when we remained adamant in our gazes he laughed and said, “Fine you caught

*ASA TRINE* “No, wait, did you bring the bag of chips that I had kept on the table?” I asked stopping Cain as he looked at me and shaking his head in negative, he said, “Just give me a minute, I’ll be right back!” It had been two days since we had gotten back and thankfully the crowd had started straying away from us a slight bit for us to decide on going on a picnic today. Another thing that had been something really good was Cain’s carefreeness. He had been smiling more and he didn’t look like he had to be on his toes every moment of his life. I think a huge credit goes to Clay and I rejecting each other. This weird phenomenon had also seemingly improved his outlook of his brother as he didn’t seem to be worried about his presence around us anymore though it didn’t mean that he became any less possessive. Looking back at our home I waited for him to come back but it was taking him longer than I had thought, and I wondered if I had actually brought the chips with me. Looking

*ASA TRINE* “That’s enough Leia, please!” I begged as I tried to escape her aggressive hits that she had been raining down on me. After seeing me she had almost ran up to me and the first thing that she had done was to hit me with all the force and energy that she had in store. “Hey, that’s enough, please if not anything then think about the baby,” Michael tried to intervene and taking the opportunity I hid behind him feeling my head almost about to burst from the built up stress. I loved my sister and I knew that she wasn’t the cause of this but I was moments away from shouting at her. “She hadn’t been feeling well too Leia, please go easy on her,” Devin pleaded my case making Cain sit up straight as he looked at me and asked, “What? What happened to you?” I had wanted to speak to him the first thing when I saw him return but he had come back with the rest of the family and I couldn’t find a moment to take him away from them as the Luna showered him with love and Alpha pra

  • Fated to My Mate's Twin   Chapter 137: She didn’t go.

*ASA TRINE* Clay had disappeared away as mysteriously he had come and right now my brain had been combusting at the possibility of what was happening. Why did I feel those things that I would have only with a mate? What did it mean? “Asa? Are you alright?” Devin came in soon after Clay had dropped me off at the entrance of the pack house only to hide back into the crowds of people. Looking around for him I tried to see those same blue eyes that had once been the reason of my tears and later the cause of my determination to solve this mystery. I wonder what he must be thinking right now and whether he had been okay. ‘What is wrong with us Asa? I can feel a connection to Clay just as much as I can feel a connection to Cain but I feel as if my body is being torn apart in both directions,’ Xara panted in my head making me aware of my own body’s condition. Now that she said I had been feeling a slight pain in my chest since i got off the car and this must be the reason behind it. ‘Th

  • Fated to My Mate's Twin   Chapter 136: Sparks

*ASA TRINE* “Are you excited to go home?” Cain asked looking at me from where I had been sitting in the passenger seat of the car while Devin now occupied the back seat. “Did you even need to ask me that, of course I am!” I said looking at him to find that his eyes had been looking deeply relaxed as they flitted over my face. There seemed to still be some anxiety within him but he was assured now that he wasn’t going to lose me. But he wouldn’t let me away from his eyesight for more than two minutes. So maybe he wasn’t completely healed yet but at least he was on that path. “I am so glad that everything turned out as it did and that nothing happened to you,” Devin sighed from where he was sprawled on the back seat looking as if the life had been drained out of him. Right now he looked older than what he was and I gave him an apologetic smile. “Sorry that you had to manage and meet all the people who had wanted to meet me,” I said remembering the hordes of people who had been

*ASA TRINE*“No...”I said for the first time in a while as I felt my voice return to me. I knew that I wasn’t conscious and that part scared me more for if I wasn’t consciousness then I must be dead for the goddess to visit me.She didn’t look anything extraordinary as I stared at the bright mass of light that had been blinding to me before. This light unlike Ephialtes had taken a much proper shape like that of a human and had long wispy hair of light floating all round her being. Her yes had been white as well but again unlike Ephialtes they didn’t look soulless they looked full of life.I felt blessed to have seen her but just the thought of what would it mean to be to see her meant made tears spill out of my eyes as I fell to my knees in front of her. None of my wounds hurting anymore and I wished for them to pain and hurt me again, anything that would tell me that I had been alive.“Please Goddess, let me live, please id don’t want to die just yet,” I pleaded pathetically the fac

*ASA TRINE*And as I said this I went towards Ephialtes who dodged me at my first try using all his effort to move away from me.“No! Don’t do this to me!” he shouted but as the sun’s rays started pouring over his body more and more he started disappearing and growing lighter in color as would happen to a shadow.“I need to do this Ephialtes, you have tortured many innocent people and I only hope that next time you wouldn’t walk on the wrong path,” I said this as I started slashing at whatever black misty body part I got making his body disappear and grow smaller and smaller. It was surreal to watch Ephialtes have nowhere to go as he started circling around me trying to continue to build himself up but the sunlight was making it impossible for him. His white pale eyes that usually stood out in its ghastliness didn’t seem as scary as they depicted his fright.“No, I remember now, this- this is how I was put to sleep all those years ago and now again,” he let out a groan as Cain and Dev

*ASA TRINE* His raspy voice almost instantly made all the hair in my body stand up and looking at his soulless eyes I wondered if he could see through my façade. The air had significantly dropped down around me and if Ephialtes had not been present here I would have been much intrigued to observe such a sudden change in my surroundings “Why? Aren’t you going to say something to me this time?” he asked swishing slightly to the left and the right making me flit my eyes to make sure that he hadn’t been able to sneak up an attack on me. “I don’t want to waste my time talking to you, let’s get on with the fighting,” I said hoping that reverse psychology would work on him as well as I noticed him pause and stare at me while I forced my face to stay impassive. “I don’t like that look in your eyes,” he gnawed out his words narrowing his pathetic pearls to look at me as he continued, “I quite like it more when they had been shut closed scared to even face me.” I wanted to look up at the
