Chapter Three Hundred and Thirty Three

Lilith's POV

I wake to an empty and cold bed, finding neither Khai or Theo are there for me to cuddle into.

Lora isn't awake yet, she hadn't cried and I take a cheeky moment to myself, deciding to shower before she wakes.

It seems the sun has just risen in the sky, the moon still shining as the darkness is slowly taken over by the light of the day.

I wonder where Khai and Theo have gotten too and why they hadn't woke me or one of them stayed with me.

Feeling for them I note nothing seems awry so I continue about my own morning.

My shower doesn't last long, only a quick wash of my body and face as I try to wake myself up in a good mood.

I get out on cue to Lora crying, though it's more of a gurgle than cry but even so she's hungry and ensure she's fed before we both get dressed.

I meet Calley in the hallway as I head downstairs for breakfast.

She's holding a backpack that's bursting at the seems and she looks utterly embarrassed to have been caught by me.
