Lilith's POVI storm from the house in a fit of pure rage as I think about the disappointment of not being able to pry my daughter's very soul from that of the wolf that will ruin her life.I find a hanging swing bolted to a tree not far into the tree cover, so I sit on it.And as soon as I do, a vision comes unbidden to my life.Theseus is working in a small workshop, sawing down a tree to make the very seat I'm sitting on. Theo's POVTheseus takes us back to his home, and despite feeling nauseous again, I’m better able to control the urge to want to vomit.Everything spins before me in a whirlwind of colours as I travel through the vortex of teleporting, and before I know it, my feet hit the ground in the yard behind the large glass house that Theseus calls his own. Calley falls to the floor, holding herself up as she reaches, and Arlo doesn’t fare much better. His eyes seem to spin, and he holds onto the nearest trunk to hold himself up.But I’ll give the twins their due; they both push off the impending feeling of sickness to stand and assess their situation. Khai's POVLilith submerges herself under the water of the hot spring with the guidance of my hand on her shoulder.I ensure she's covered up. That none of her is on show to prevent Zeus from coping a look at my mate in her unacceptable nakedness.I didn't expect anyone to be here inside the small pool that’s naturally hot.Even Obsidian is feeling somewhat territorial over Lilith. His low grow is sitting at the back of my throat, begging for escape even though Zeus has done nothing offensive. Yet. He helps me move before her to obscure her remaining skin on show, even though the moment I sit, her neck and face will be bare for him to see.But to my amazement, Zeus's eyes follow my every move in amusement as if he finds my territorial claim on the she-wolf before him amusing.How do they handle such things here, I wonder?They aren’t all of the same species, and indeed that must cause problems when one man likes another’s mate.
