Chapter Four Hundred and Sixty Six

Hati’s POV

“Sir, we’ve lost all communication with those at home,” Darius mind-links me in the middle of the night as I lay besides Belle and Lora as Belle feeds the child to keep her from screaming blue murder.

We’ve had a hell of a day, the child hasn’t slept and wants nothing to do with anyone but Belle, and Gretchen is less than impressed that we’re already running out of the potion she made.

We’d argued for hours when she refused to make anymore, claiming I’m using to much and it might be detrimental to the child’s development. Yet a quick punishment and fuck alter her tunes had changed.

That’s not to say I didn’t make her sit at my feet for the next few hours as her welts crusted over whilst I stared at her unwaveringly.

“You do as I say, Gretchen. I own you, and you’d do good to remember how you came to me,” I remind her.

Way back when she’d had nothing, her family having thrown her out. And her kind having disowned her completely.
