Chapter 100

I have no idea where that pain came from. It was still surreal to me why I felt pain upon staring at mom. Maybe it's because of the fact that I would be able to find out more about the life of my real mother when I reached the southeast kingdom or maybe there's something else.

I didn't want to be far from the mother I used to know but I have to find answers to all the questions that are confusing me.

“Margaux?”

I was suddenly aback from my deep thoughts when I heard someone calling my name. My eyes narrowed to all of them and found out that they were all staring at me.

“What happened?” I asked them.

“We are trying to call you, baby, but you weren't with yourself. What just happened?” Jace asked, which made me sigh.

“I am sorry, but I was just thinking of something, Jace. Don't worry about me because I am fine.” I replied.

“You made me worry, Margaux. It seems like there's really something bothering you that I didn't know.”

I looked at Jace and closed my eyes to calm myself.
