Chapter 6

Jackson's POV

I hated Amelia for making Summer leave, she was being all possessive since her return, I don't even like her attitude. Her attention is weird, her care is obvious. Her pleasure is the same, her concern is very rapid. It's just way out of my league, and I can't deal with her constant nagging and troubles.

“Why would you make her leave?” I was pissed at this lady standing in front of me, I wished I could just smash her head on the wall and make her pay.

“Can't you see that she doesn't deserve you?”

“That's my decision and not yours, If you would be kind enough to use the door”

“Are you asking me out of your room?”

“Leave” I snapped, tossing a pillow at her, she got lucky that my hands were far from the flower vase, she would surely get hospitalized for her attitude.

“I'll surely show you that she's not worth the chase, Alpha” She stomped her feet on the ground before walking out of the room. I chuckled at her childish behavior, I skipped that part about her, she's always jovial and never takes things seriously. She abandoned the pack for her personal adventures and returned as a saint to be accepted. The council was against her acceptance, but I stood in for her because she's my friend and occasionally her advises pays off in the right manner.

I was seated in the dinning room, about to enjoy my light breakfast prepared by this new maid I employed, knowing that she wasn't all good at cooking, I loved watching people grow and learn a new approach to a certain task, I don't want perfect beings because they don't know how to correct their mistakes when they make them.

“Jackson, Jackson, Jackson”

“What in the world would make this lady scream my name without respect.” I muttered to myself as I felt like disappearing with the tray containing my breakfast and going far away from this nuisance.

“I told you that she was a crook, a lying bitch. Summer used a spell on you and got her way into your arms again and to think that you…" she whispers “fucked her last night, this would prove my words right”

“What are you saying?” I was perplexed by her words, wondering what she was saying. She was just speaking like someone who has lost something eventually and couldn't hide the excitement of recovering the item.

“Listen to this” she utters as she places her index finger on my lips.

I was a bit surprised when I heard the voice of someone, I knew this was Summer's wolf,

“I told you it would work, Summer. I knew Orion would fall for you if I nudged him a little.” I couldn't believe that Summer would do this, take advantage of my wolf and make me fall in love with her again. Not only that, but I knew I had rejected her, but I wondered how the feelings just erupted out of the blues for her and this baffled me to some extent, knowing how me and her were close.

“How did you do it?” She inquired, Scarlett's voice was a bit low.

“It's a little trick, I made the call, and he made the fall, and we're now taking the ball because it's ours” Her wolf divulged, as Scarlett concedes to her words,

“I'm so happy to have him back to him, for him to love me. He appreciates me besides that slimy bitch that calls herself Amelia”

“End of play, I guess with what you've heard, you'll know that I wasn't lying. I care about you, that's why I'm doing all these to make sure you don't fall in love with the wrong person” Amelia uttered as she held my hands.

“How would you do this to me, Orion?” I had to question my wolf, knowing that this was beyond my reach, it felt like I was a little child being deceived to love someone who I've rejected

“I did what felt right to me” my wolf wasn't remorseful and this was surprisingly true.

“Having me tricked felt right to you” I hissed violently, knowing that I had a way of controlling my wolf because it seemed like it was gaining an edge over me.

“Having Summer is way more than this bag of troubles standing an inch away from you” He was right in his words, but I hated being deceived, it'll make me look like a fool.

“Summer would pay for her troubles…" Guards, hunt her down and bring her to me”

“That's more like the Alpha I know” Amelia giggles as she holds my hands. I felt very pissed that I walked out on her, she followed me.

“Stay back, I need to be left alone. Alert me when she has been captured” I ordered as Amelia stopped dead in her tracks and walked back to the living room.

“Summer, would he severely punished for her crimes and no one would save her this time” I muttered to myself as I filled my cup with vodka, gulping it at once. Trying so hard to ease off the tension.

“What are you doing, Jackson?” My wolf was a bit curious about the way I was drinking.

“What do you mean?” I stuttered,

“What are you doing?, you're an alpha, and you're trying to get yourself drunk” it was really hell-bent on spoiling what I was drinking.

“Yes I'm trying to ease off the tension that you both placed me in” the words of Summer still got me on the edge.

“I apologize for my mistakes. It would never happen again…

“What do you mean that it would never happen again, you've done something very obvious, and now you would surely pay for what you did alongside Summer, but I'll be done with her at first before I'll face you” I growled as I downed another cup of vodka?

“I apologize for my misdeeds, please pardon me and have mercy ok Summer. She loves you so much” It divulged,

“Why would she be desperate?” I hated people who are desperate to have something.

“That's because she has a desperate competitor for your love, you have to be careful with Amelia. She might have a plan to have you seduced, and then you'll make her pregnant and that would seal the union between you both” These words softened my heart as I forgave my wolf for what it did to me. I knew Amelia was capable of doing what my wolf said.

“She's here, Alpha Jackson”
