Spending time together

Chloe's POV

Walking into the kitchen was like a dream, it was huge and had dark gray marble counter tops with white cabinets and a giant island in the middle where there was a flattop stove. The dining table was in here also, which could seat like 14 people at a time. The chandelier had to be my favorite, it was so intricate with different little crystals hanging from where the candle like lights were, if the sun hit it just right the whole room would light up in a variety of colors.

Lucas sat me at the counter on a stool while he started taking out food "What's your favorite foods to eat?" He glanced over to me "I love everything, I'm not really picky but my favorites are steak and pizza" I lightly laughed as he stared at me and then a smile grew on his face and turned back to the fridge. He took out some of the biggest steaks I had ever seen and I felt my stomach grumble. "I am going to make us steak, do you like potatoes too?" "I love potatoes, anyway you can make them" I was excited and really hungry, I hadn't had much the past couple days and was ready for a good meal.

After he finished cooking and we sat down to eat, we talked about anything and everything. I told him about school and my parents and told me about how he graduated last year and is working for his dad now, training to take over the business. We laughed and had a nice time, I felt such a strong connection to him and I couldn't help but smile when he'd look at me. When we finished I grabbed his plate and went to go and clean up the kitchen. He grabbed my wrist "You don't have to do that, I can" he let go when I turned to him "You cooked, I clean, those are the rules" I said smiling at him and he smiled back and helped me clear the table. Once we finished Austen came around the corner and looked to be in a hurry "Hey Chloe, can we do your room tomorrow? I have to run out and I may be a while." "Of course! Don't worry about it, I'll see you tomorrow, thanks again for everything I love the clothes... and other stuff" I gave her smirk and she laughed while Lucas looked confused as she left the house.

"I can help you some stuff if you want" Lucas says to me "How about a movie and popcorn and maybe.... ice cream?" "That sounds perfect, but it looks like the living room is occupied right now." He frowned a bit "What about in my room? We can watch in there and get the snacks and sit on the bed? Or is that to weird?" The frown was gone and he was smiling again. "I would love that, what kind of ice cream do you want? I will run over to the store and grab whatever kind you like and be back in 20 while you pick a movie for us. Sound good?" I couldn't help but be excited "I love peanut butter cup or anything with banana ice cream but no nuts! And maybe we could have white cheddar popcorn? If that's okay." I felt shy again and looked down slightly but he made me look at him again, touching my face and gently rubbing him thumb to my cheek. "I will be right back with everything you want, can't believe you want to eat again, I don't know where you out it all" he winked at me as he looked me over which made me blush and advert my eyes. He moved his hand and kissed my cheek and headed out the door while I started off up stairs.

I finally made it up to the room and turned on the TV that was on the wall by the bathroom door and started searching through Disney+ when I saw they had it. 'Hey Callie, think he will like a Marvel movie or maybe we can watch Beauty and the Beast, the live one, it's my favorite' 'I'd go for Marvel, he's a guy, probably likes all that action' 'Alright, Winter Soldier it is, I love Bucky' After setting up the movie to just push play I got up to find something more comfortable to wear. I found some pink sleep shorts, 'woah girl, those are short' 'but cute right? plus I'll have a blanket on my lap' 'mmmhmm if you say so' I went in the closet and grabbed a slipknot baggy t and threw it on then headed to the bathroom realy quick before he got back with the snacks. When I opened the bathroom door he was standing there smiling with ice cream and 2 giant bags of popcorn and some soda, then I noticed him looking me up and down and he dropped the popcorn bags and caught the soda and ice cream before they fell. I couldn't help but laugh at him and he definitely blushed a bit which I found to be absolutely adorable. I walked out and knelt down to grab the popcorn and we touched hands as he did the same, I blushed and stood up and walked to the bed. I hopped up and got all comfy while grabbing the ice cream from Lucas and he came and sat next to me. "Do you like the Marvel movies!?" "I do, I've seen most of them but not the series that have come out just yet" I was so excited to have him with me "This is my favorite, Bucky is my husband" I was smiling, probably like a crazy person "Your boyfriend huh? Maybe I don't want to watch this with you then, I may get jealous" He looked at me with a smirk on his face and I elbowed his arm and laughed. We watched the movie and ate all the popcorn and he went to put the rest of the ice cream away. We watched the last 2 avengers movies while eating the pizzas he ordered once dinner time rolled around. Once the movies were over we started Loki.

I could feel myself getting tired but I didn't want him to leave so I tried to force myself to stay awake, it was dark outside now and I was laying down with my head towards him on a pillow and he was still sitting there, every once in a while I could feel him peer down at me and smile which made me feel good. I remember the second episode starting and then nothing.
