Aria's POV...

My heart felt heavy, and the tears didn't stop falling. I had to bury my face inside the bed to keep my noise from leaving the room. I don't want to be a topic of discussion amongst the guards and maids. The door clicked open, and it got closed in a second. The person hurried towards me, lifting me by my shoulder.

"Why are you crying?" Ella asked, her face creased in worry. I sniffed, gasping for breath. She patted my back continuously while rubbing at my arm. "Calm down; try to breathe."
