Lagertha’s POV

It had been two days since I lost my sight. According to Alpha Theo, Natasha, and her cousin had gone into hiding, and they were doing everything they could to find her. Meanwhile, multiple antidotes had been applied to my eyes, but none had worked—I still couldn’t see a thing.

“What are you thinking?” Lila, who was seated beside me, suddenly asked when she must have noticed my quietness.

I sighed. “ I'm tired, Lila. Tired of this darkness," I murmured. The exhaustion of not being able to see anything had taken its toll. I was scared, anxious—what if my sight never returned? What would happen to me then?

“Lagertha,” Lila whispered, squeezing my hand. “Don’t think like that. You will see again. I believe it with all my heart. Theo is doing everything in his power to find Natasha and the right antidote. He hasn’t rested in two days. You should see him, he looks like a ghost of himself. Believe me, he would move mountains to restore your sight, even if it meant defying the

Alpha Theo’s POV “This is nonsense!” I snapped, raking a frustrated hand through my hair. The tracker I had sent to hunt down Natasha and her cousin had just informed me over the phone that they still hadn’t found her. How the hell had they not found her yet? They were some of the best trackers in the country—how could they fail to locate one woman? “Listen to me! Do whatever it takes and find that woman!” I barked before ending the call and slamming the phone onto my desk. Across from me, Oscar sat in silence, his gaze filled with concern. He sighed heavily. “No news yet?” he asked. I didn’t answer. I didn’t need to. My silence said it all. Where I was seated, I was so frustrated, pained, and feeling useless. It had been three days—three agonizing days—and Lagertha still hadn’t regained her sight. Natasha had vanished into thin air, as if she had never existed, and the antidote Mother had been using wasn’t working. I had never felt this powerless before. Every moment of

Alpha Theo’s POV “No, Mother, I can’t accept it,” I said, rejecting Mother’s suggestion without a second thought. Mother frowned and raised a brow at me. “And why won’t you accept it? This will help Lagertha. She might regain her sight there,” she pressed on, but I shook my head while my wolf howled in disapproval. “No, Mother. I’m not sending Lagertha to China—not just for a week or a few weeks, but for months! No!” Mother's frown deepened. “And why not, Theo? You know the healing process takes time. The healers there have treated a case like Lagertha’s before, and they succeeded. But it took months—months of incantations and medicine. Why are you acting like she’s running away?” I clenched my jaw, my fists tightening at my sides. “I will not send Lagertha halfway across the world for months when she needs to be here, with me.” Mother sighed, her eyes narrowing. “Theo, you're being unreasonable.” “I'm being protective,” I shot back. “Do you understand how vulnerable she will be

  • Fated To The Mate Who Loves My Sister   Two could play this game

Lagertha’s POV Shit! That was close. I had been so lost in thought that I didn’t even notice when he entered the room. It wasn’t until he called my name that I realized he was standing right there. Keeping up the act, I moved toward the bed, but to make it more convincing, I intentionally tripped and fell. Theo was quick—he rushed forward and caught me before I hit the floor. “Sorry,” he murmured, his voice softer than I expected, as he gently lifted me into his arms. This time, he didn’t let me walk. Instead, he carried me effortlessly, and I gasped as he placed me on the bed, tucking the blanket over my legs. Then, instead of leaving, he sat in front of me, his presence commanding, his eyes locked on mine. I leaned back against the headboard, keeping my gaze unfocused, trying my best to maintain the act of being blind. But he was close—too close. His scent surrounded me, and his intense stare made it difficult to keep up the act of being blind. Worse, he wasn’t just looking at

  • Fated To The Mate Who Loves My Sister   Never hated you

Lagertha’s POV The door to my room creaked open, and Ma’am Benita stepped inside. She smiled at me before shutting it behind her, making her way toward me. “Good morning,” I greeted, settling into a more comfortable position. With her, I didn’t have to pretend to be blind. “Good morning, Lagertha. How have you been holding up?" she asked as she sat beside me. I let out a soft sigh. “I’m fine… but Alpha Theo nearly caught me yesterday.” Ma’am Benita chuckled. “He’s sharp, I’ll give him that. But don’t worry, our plan is already in motion.” I raised a brow. “What’s the update?” She sighed. “I suggested sending you to China for treatment, but Theo isn’t budging. So I gave him three days—either he finds Natasha or the antidote, or I send you to China myself.” I frowned. “Do you think he’ll agree?” She nodded. “He has no choice. He’ll have to.” I hesitated before nodding back. “I’ll see you later, okay?” She gave my shoulder a gentle pat before leaving the room and sh

  • Fated To The Mate Who Loves My Sister   Alpha Grey

Lila’s POV “Who is he? When did you meet him? Are you sure about this?” Lagertha asked, her voice laced with confusion. Her eyes were locked on me, and for a brief moment, I thought she wasn’t blind. It felt like she could see me. But I brushed it off—it was just my mind playing tricks on me. I took a shaky breath and wiped my face with the back of my hand. “Please, Lila, say something. How did this happen? Where did you meet him? Who is he?” Lagertha pressed again, her concern deepening. I inhaled deeply, forcing myself to speak. “I met him an hour ago,” I finally admitted. “Where? Who is he?” she pressed on. I released a soft sigh. “I met him at the Bloodline Pack. Remember, I had a business deal to finalize with the Luna of the pack? So, I went there to finalize the deal, and that’s when I met him…” I paused, gathering myself to speak. “Lagertha, you won’t believe it. My mate is Alpha Grey of the Bloodline Pack,” Lagertha was silent. Too silent. Her expression didn’t change

  • Fated To The Mate Who Loves My Sister   Scared of losing him

Lila’s POV I decided to let Lagertha rest and headed to my room, hoping to clear my mind and come up with a plan. As I made my way there, my mind raced with thoughts of Alpha Grey and his impending visit. I needed to think clearly. I needed a plan. But instead of going straight to my room, I found myself heading toward the training field, drawn by the familiar sounds of combat. The clash of swords, the grunts of exertion, and the steady rhythm of footfalls on the dirt ground reached my ears before I even saw them. My feet carried me forward, and soon, I spotted him. Oscar. He was in the middle of the field, shirtless, his toned body glistening with sweat under the afternoon sun. He moved with precise, lethal grace, his muscles flexing with each movement as he sparred with one of the warriors. His opponent lunged, but Oscar was faster—sidestepping and countering with a swift kick that sent the man tumbling to the ground. My heart clenched at the sight of him. Butterflies swi

  • Fated To The Mate Who Loves My Sister   Something isn’t right

Lila’s POV Oscar’s eyes darkened with desire as he gently made me lie on the bed. Goddess, I wanted this man. But he had been holding himself back from me, barely kissing me, never taking things further. As if he could tell I hadn’t truly been with a man. Oscar climbed onto the bed and helped me undress, taking every layer of my clothes, even up to my undies, leaving me naked before him. At first, I was shy. It’s not that it’s the first time he has seen me naked—we’ve seen each other bare when we take off our clothes to shift, and I usually gawk at his… you know, his dick. But we had never been this naked in a closed room, just the two of us, horny and the scent of arousal thick in the air. Warmth spread through me as Oscar’s tongue made contact with my skin, licking slowly. He started at my neck, trailing downward, his slow, deliberate movements leaving a tingling heat in their wake. When he reached my collarbone, he paused, his breath hot against my skin before he continued l

  • Fated To The Mate Who Loves My Sister   What I Didn’t Know

Lagertha’s POV It had been two days, and I hadn’t seen Theo. Not that I was worried… Fuck, who was I kidding? I cared. I was curious to know why hadn’t he come to see me? Ever since he left my room that day, he hadn’t returned. Not once. I wanted to ask someone, maybe Ma’am Benita, but I didn’t want it to seem like I cared. I needed to maintain the illusion that I hated him, that I wanted nothing to do with him. But deep down, I knew the truth—I was developing a soft spot for him. And it was stupid. I shouldn’t. But the heart never listens to reason. I could have asked Lila, but she had her own problems. Her mate was visiting today, and she hadn't told a soul about him—except for me. So here I was, in this suffocating room, acting blind and thinking of Alpha Theo and why he hadn’t come to see me for the past 48 hours. A sudden knock at the door pulled me from my thoughts, but knowing it wasn’t him, I felt no excitement to meet whoever it was. The door creaked open, and in

  • Fated To The Mate Who Loves My Sister   Back Home

Lagertha’s POV A big smile spread across my face as I looked through the window, staring at the familiar trees of the pack. It was great to be back home — to be with Theo — who sat beside me, gently stroking my hair. For strange reasons, I could feel he was tense. I couldn’t explain why, but I felt it deep in my bones. Slowly, I lifted my head from his shoulder and looked up at him. Our eyes met, and he smiled. It wasn’t fake, but it wasn’t completely relaxed either. It felt like a smile laced with nerves. “Are you okay?” I asked, worry threading my voice. Theo nodded quickly. “Of course,” he said, placing an assuring kiss on my forehead — but it did nothing to ease the knot in my stomach. Something was definitely up with him. “Are you worried the pack won’t accept me?” I asked, my voice soft. Theo scoffed lightly. “What nonsense. Of course they will. They have no choice, Laggy… You are my mate, and I love you so much. My family loves you too—” Before he could finish his

  • Fated To The Mate Who Loves My Sister   Mark me

Lila’s POV Oscar’s home is just a few drives away from the pack house. When we reached his home, his men stationed at each corner of his home greeted us, but we barely responded; all that was in our mind was getting to Oscar’s room. It seemed we were so eager for it. Oscar led me up the stairs and to his room. Reaching his room, we stepped in, and I took in the surroundings. Oscar's room was exactly what I had imagined—clean, simple, but with a distinct masculine charm. A faint scent of cedarwood and something uniquely him lingered in the air, making my pulse quicken. His bed was neatly made, navy sheets stretched tight across the mattress, and a soft glow from the lamp on his nightstand bathed the room in a warm hue. I stood there for a moment, unsure of what to do or say. Oscar shut the door behind us, the soft click echoing in the stillness. I turned to look at him, and he was already watching me—his gaze intense, searching, as if he were trying to figure out what I was th

  • Fated To The Mate Who Loves My Sister   Second Chance

Lila’s POV I checked my wristwatch and realized Oscar’s flight had arrived. Any moment now, he’d be walking out of that terminal, and just the thought made my heart race. It had only been two days since he left, but it felt like an eternity. I missed him so much it ached. I craved him—his arms around me, his lips on mine. I wanted to feel him again. God, I was horny. My wolf scoffed in me, clearly annoying me even more. Where I stood beside the car, leaning on it with my back, I stood beside the car, leaning against it with my back, trying to stay calm as I waited. Passengers began pouring out of the terminal with their luggage, and my eyes scanned the crowd, searching for him. But suddenly an intoxicating smell hit my nose. My nostrils flared. That scent. It wasn’t just intoxicating—it was maddening, wild, and warm, curling into my lungs like it belonged there. My wolf froze, then jolted forward in my mind with a snarl that shook me to my core. Mate. My body straighten

  • Fated To The Mate Who Loves My Sister   Mate!

Oscar’s POV “When are you arriving… I’ll come pick you up myself,” Lila said through the mind link, and I chuckled. “Already missing me?” I teased. “Of course I am… you’ve been gone for two days. And good news—Theo and Lagertha are coming back tonight. Theo has a surprise for Lila, and Mother is helping him prepare it. I want you here before they arrive,” Lila muttered, and I smiled. I was happy with how things turned out between Lagertha and Theo. After my fight with Grey, Ma’am Benita told us the truth—that Theo and Lagertha wouldn’t be going through any surgery because Lagertha could see. They hid it from us. She explained why she did, and I understood. “So what time am I expecting to pick you up at the airport?” Lila pressed on. A smile spread across my face. “I’m on my way to the airport… so in the next four hours, I’ll be arriving in California,” I said. “Good… I will be waiting for you. Have a nice trip back, darling. I love you.” My heart fluttered. “I love you,

  • Fated To The Mate Who Loves My Sister   On the Tiled Floor

Theo’s POV Her “yes” hung in the air, soft and shaky, but powerful. It sealed something between us that didn’t need words. I couldn’t speak—my throat felt tight, my chest full. Everything I felt for her, everything I had been trying to hide, came pouring out all at once. I held her face in my hands and kissed her again—this time slower, deeper. I wanted to feel every second of it. She let out a soft gasp when our lips touched again. Her hands grabbed my shoulders, pulling me even closer. Her body pressed into mine like she couldn’t stand even a little space between us. She was so warm, so soft, so real. Everything about her—her smell, her voice, the feel of her skin—wrapped around me like magic I never wanted to end. I carefully lifted her from the water. Her legs wrapped around me, and her head rested on my shoulder. She was shaking, not because she was scared, but because she was waiting for what was coming. I held her tight, kissing her forehead, her temple, the side of her ear

  • Fated To The Mate Who Loves My Sister   Pool

Theo’s POV Lagertha was asleep, and I was watching her. She lay curled beneath the thick blanket, her chest rising and falling in the quiet rhythm of peace—something she hadn’t had much of lately. Something we hadn’t had. The black strands of her hair spilled across the pillow like silk, her lips slightly parted, her eyelashes fanned across her cheeks. She looked so precious. So fragile. And yet, she was the strongest person I knew. I sat in the armchair across from the bed, a blanket draped over my shoulders, but I wasn’t cold. I wasn’t tired either. I just… couldn’t stop looking at her. My heart was still too full. Too shaken. I should be angry. I was angry, in a way. But it was drowned out by everything else. The grief, the relief, the crushing ache of knowing how close I came to losing her—not just to her blindness, but to a decision I hadn’t seen coming. She had planned to leave. And I hadn’t known. If I hadn’t offered my eye… if I hadn’t said those words… she wo

  • Fated To The Mate Who Loves My Sister   Reject Her

Oscar's POV We left the living room and stepped into the combat grounds, where a few warriors were still training. “Everyone step back,” I commanded, and they all stopped their training, stepping back but all looking confused. I stared at Grey, who was already taking off his clothes, ready for the fight. I looked at Lila, who stood a few steps away from me. She looked terrified, worried, and in pain. Her eyes were clouded in tears. It was obvious she was so scared of me, and I understood why. Grey was a good warrior. He had gone to war and had won, and I? I hadn’t been to a war. Our pack’s strength, numbers, and especially Theo’s unmatched power had always kept war away from our doorstep. No one dared challenge us. No one even considered it. “Why are you hesitating? Having second thoughts?” Grey mocked, noticing I hadn’t started undressing while he was already down to his briefs. I ignored his taunt and reached for the buttons on my shirt, but Lila stepped forward, gently takin

Lila’s POV “So tell me, Oscar, are you willing to die for Lila?” Alpha Grey asked, his voice dripping with confidence, as if he had already won. I scowled at his arrogance. “Yes,” Oscar replied without hesitation. “Only that I won’t be the one dying.” I glanced at him with wild eyes as I frantically shook my head. “Hell no… you are not fighting,” I disagreed. Alpha Grey chuckled softly. “What’s wrong, Lila? Are you afraid I’ll kill him?” His tone was mocking, his smirk infuriating. I shot him a glare full of hatred before turning back to Oscar, who wore a deep frown. “Don’t do it… we will find other ways,” I pleaded. But Oscar shook his head. “There is no other way. This is the only way.” “No, it isn’t!” I snapped at him. “I won’t let you do it, Oscar… I won’t,” I said in a shaky voice while fear filled my entire being. It’s not that I don’t trust Oscar’s skills and abilities, it’s just that I have heard stories of this Alpha Grey. He has fought two battles and has come out v

Lagertha’s POV “I have been able to see for a very long time.” I drop the bombshell, my heart pounding rapidly. For a moment, Theo stood speechless, his confused but stunned eyes on me. He was looking at me as if waiting for me to laugh and say I was joking, but I didn’t. Rather, my eyes remained focused on him. “Theo… say something.” I whispered nervously, waiting for him to explode, to yell at me for not telling him the truth sooner. But he didn’t. Rather, he just remained numb, staring right at me. I could see the confusion, the questions, and the disbelief in his eyes, But the anger I had feared? It wasn’t there. Slowly, Theo raised his hand, holding up two fingers. I didn’t need him to speak to understand what he was asking. “Two fingers.” I responded. His Adam’s apple bobbed as he swallowed hard, his hands balling into fists at his sides. He took a step back, putting distance between us. “ When?" His voice was too calm, too measured. And that terrified me more than if he
