336. Daddy's girl

I've never seen a plane this close before in my life and I feel so excited that I'll be traveling in one today.

"Wow!" I can't stop my jaw from dropping in awe when I see the interior of the plane. I never knew a plane could be so extravagantly furnished.

"We will talk in the bedroom." My mom says as she leads the way.

"It also has a bedroom!" I exclaim in wonder under my breath, not thinking anyone would hear me but she did.

She briefly turns to me and whispers conspiratorially, "Yes, it did."

I laugh.

"Care to share what's funny?" My dad asks, seeing both of us sharing a secret laugh.

"No. It's not your concern. Girls' stuff." She replies good-naturedly before winking in my direction.

I see some of her concern about me from earlier has eased off a bit. It's amazing how well we quickly take to each other as family. Anyone seeing the way we relate with each other would never believe we just reconnected as parents and daughter a few months ago and it's all thanks to them.
