After Lilian peeped out my door to check if someone was spying on us, she came in and murmured a spell after which she waved her hand in the air.

I didn’t expect that and I didn’t know what it meant neither did I know why she did that.

“What was that for?” I asked her and she found her way to my sofa to sit down.

“You can never be too sure who might pass and catch a wind of what we are about to discuss and mind you the rooms here aren’t soundproof,” She explained with a serious look on her face.

I nodded my head in understanding and clasped my hands together bracing myself for what I was about to hear.

“I know you want to hear the full story but from the look on your face, you aren’t doubting what I said. Could there be a reason why?” She asked me and I reluctantly nodded my head.

Afterward, I went ahead to explain to her what happened that night that Maeve's pupil dilated to full white color and she told me something that she didn't remember the next day.
