MAEVE’S POV

All I could see was darkness and then I knew that something was wrong. I knew I had to open my eyes. When my eyes fluttered open, I found myself in the room that Damien informed me was mine.

I tried to get into a sitting position and I felt warm hands on my shoulders helping me to get up. I turned to see it was Damien and he had a warm smile on his face.

“ Thank the goddess you are awake. We were afraid you were gonna die on us, “ Damien said to me after handing me a glass of water to drink.
