Worst Day Ever

As soon as I mentioned his name, Jin's brows snapped into a frown.

"Brock? The same boy I warned to never touch you again? Who still went ahead to defy me and harass you with his friends at the pickup zone?" He asked repeatedly, trying to make sure he knew who I was talking about.

I mean, duh. How many "Brock's" were in the school?

Anyway, I nodded my head in response to all his questions. "Yes, that's him." I paused before adding. "And he wasn't ‘harassing' me at the pickup zone that day. He was just... He was just trying to be friendly." I lowered my head.

However, Jin scoffed, arching an eyebrow inquisitively. "Trying to be 'friendly' by hitting on you while watching his friends call you names? Come on, Nimue, you're smarter than that."

I sighed in defeat. I hadn't wanted Jin to find out about Brock's persistent flirting because of this same reason, among others. He just seemed so creepily possessive.
