I felt like I was drowning in my thoughts while I ate breakfast. French toast and bacon were my favorite breakfast food thus far. It was positively delicious.

I could not get over what happened last night. That nightmare was just one of hundreds that plagued me. That one was so bad because that was the event where I lost hope for myself – for my future. I had come to realize that it was my reality until a time came where I either accidentally died or someone offed me.

Dante had used his gift on me and made it so that I would never have it again. I was not certain if he had seen the events or not. That was an answer that I did not want to think about right now. He had asked me if I trusted him, and the truth was that I did. There was no rational reason why other than he had proved multiple times the kind of person that he was.
