Everyone was giving me breathing room because I was wound up very tightly. We needed to find her, and we needed to find her now. The ticking of the clock did nothing but crank up my anxiety. I always prided myself on control. It was required as an Alpha. Gramps and my father both instilled that into me from a very young age. Temper tantrums as a pup were used as teaching moments.
