‘Ziyah, I’m going to open this window. Selene said it’s safe to snar him,’ I told her.

“I’ll be sure to send my condolences,” I said with a snicker.

I quickly slid the window open and went back to looking out at the scenery that was passing us by. Woods, woods, and more woods.

“Tell the truth,” Ziyah cooed. “Who is Chloe and how does the gift work? You won’t remember any of this conversation when it’s done.”

“She’s one of the slaves that you got from the Slater pack. You exchanged five female virgins for her. She’s able to access people’s electronics and implant her commands. Her gift travels along the connection and into the person.”

My mind was made up that we would be getting Chloe out of there as long as she was willing to abide by our rules. I could only imagine what her life might have been like.

“Tell the truth. Does she do this willingly?” Ziyah asked.

He snorted as if that was the funniest thing in the world. The sleazy smirk on his face made me want to gouge it r
