Chapter 57: Pain

Theodore didn’t want to lie, but he was scared and nervous by thinking about the reaction of Liara after finding everything, and on top, Tiara’s sticking with him like a tail was not at all helping him.

“Don’t be nervous, Baby. We are going to meet my parents all of a sudden because I can’t wait to share this excitement and happiness with them.” Tiara said, holding Theodore’s arms and resting her head on his shoulder.

“Baby?” He repeated, controlling his temper. “Can you please not use this word as an endearment?” He asked, trying his best not to snap at her and then hurt her. He might look young, but he was hundred years old, and ‘BABY’ was not but an irritating endearment to him.

“What about honey?” Tiara asked. Theodore looked at her narrowing his eyes.

“I really don’t want to be rude, Tiara. But I don’t want you to use any kind of endearment for me.” He said, gritting his teeth. “Neither I’m a baby nor sweet as honey.”

“Then what are you? Bitter as gall and an old man?” Tiara joked
