Abbigail's POV
After calming Shawn down, I pulled Melanie aside. I'm the only one she opens up to and the only one who can really read her. Beth still tries to figure out how I do it. She thinks I read her facial expressions, but I don't. Being blind for so long my other senses adapted. I haven't been able to turn it off since my sight was restored.
I'm still able to hear people's emotions in the voices. It's how I've been able to tell when Melanie is upset. I sat her down on the living room couch and give her a knowing look. She lets out a sigh and tears fill her eyes. "I hate that you read me so well," she chokes quietly as I take her hands.
"You've mastered the poker face, but your voice still gives you away," I say softly as the tears fall from her eyes. "You're scared about something."
"Both of you are pregnant and Shawn and I have come close to death in the last few years. Who will be there for you, Beth and the kids if something happens to us," she asks in a scared whisper.
"You two are strong and have made it through the brink of death, more than once. I don't doubt for a minute that anything will happen to either of you," I say softly and give her a kiss. "Beth wanted to have this baby for you, to make you happy."
"I am happy," she chokes with a smile. "I'm happy for both of you."
"I know you are, but you wish you could be pregnant again too. I know you Melanie," I say softly and she breaks into uncontrolled sobs, coming in my arms.Tears roll down my cheeks and choke quietly, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean for you to get upset."
"I'm carrying her baby," Beth chokes quietly as she and Shawn walk in. She sits next to Melanie who turns to look at her. "I asked them to save your eggs when they had to save your life.
"When Shawn and I went shopping for our anniversaries, we made a stop and she gave a sperm sample to fertilize your eggs," Beth chokes in broken sobs and Melanie takes her in her arms.
Melanie's POV
I was at a loss for words after Beth's confession. I was overwhelmed with emotions and couldn't find the right words to put together about how I felt. I wanted to show Beth how I appreciated what she did for me so I took her in a passionate kiss. She lets out a relieved sob and plays her fingers in my hair.
She breaks from the kiss and comes back in my arms. "I was going to wait until I got passed then first trimester before I told you, but Shawn said you should know now," she chokes in a calming breath.
"You have no idea what this means to me Beth, thank you," I choke in a whisper.
"When they told me they had to take everything to save your life, I knew you would be devastated. I had to try this for you," Beth chokes quietly.
I caress her stomach with my child in her womb and kiss the top of her head. "Shawn, I think I might work from again," I choke quietly and meet her eyes.
"I thought you'd say that," she says with understanding and I let out a relieved breath. "Someone needs to be here and protect three pregnant women and six children. Think of Daisy as your partner at home."
"Thank you for understanding," I say quietly and I hear Beth and Abbigail let out relieved breaths. "Maybe when you're not out looking for suspects or talking to victim's families, you could work from home too."
"Of course," she says softly kissing both Beth and Abbigail's heads. "We won't take as many dangerous cases. I'll call the captain and let her know that the girls are pregnant and we'll be working simple cases."
She leaves the room and the kids all join us after finishing their breakfast. "Are mommy and Aunt Abbigail having a baby," Michael asks curious.
"Yes, I'll be working from home for awhile and Daddy will be home more, but still working," I say softly. "What would you kids like to do on this beautiful Sunday?"
"Can we go play in the snow," Alex asks with a smile.
"Not in your pajamas," I say with a smile and she giggles. "Go get changed, I'll make some hot chocolate for when you're finished playing."
"Thank you," Abbigail says softly as the kids all go change.
"Why don't you both go take a relaxing bath and I'll watch the kids for a while," I say softly.
"Will you nap with me later," Beth asks in a choked whisper.
"Of course," I say softly and kiss her forehead. "Kids will come in for lunch, they'll want to nap or I can ask Jordan and Aubrey to watch them."
Abbigail shakes her head and says, "My parents have been wanting to see the kids. They'll be here after lunch to take them for the week. I hope that was okay?"
"Thank you," Beth chokes quietly. "It will give Melanie and I time alone."
Beth's POV
I waited for the kids to leave so I could take a bath with Melanie. I sat in front of her, laying back against her chest. She had her hands caressing my stomach and occasionally kisses my temple.
I noticed her whole demeanor change when I revealed that I was pregnant with her child. She seemed happier and her eyes held joy again. Knowing I was the cause of this made me feel like I did the right thing. I turn my head back to look at her and the passion that burned from her eyes had returned.
I reach back, caressing her face and kiss her passionately. "What was that for," Melanie asks in a breathy whisper as I break from the kiss.
"A new life shines in your eyes, like you've been reborn within yourself," I choke with a smile. "The dullness is gone and the light in them has returned."
She kisses my forehead and hugs her arms gently around my waist. "I'm sorry if I made you feel like I didn't care about you or love you," she says quietly and tears fill my eyes. Her voice cracks as she says, "Hearing them tell me I couldn't have more children felt like someone ripped my heart out and stomped on it in front of me."
"They were wrong Melanie," I choke quietly and bring her hands to my stomach. "You may not be able to carry, but I can and I'm giving you a chance to have another child.
"Every time you think otherwise, remember this," I choke quietly and kiss her cheek. "This baby is yours Melanie and I'm carrying it for you."
She starts kissing my neck and I let out a low moan, tilting my head to the side. She caresses my breasts, massaging them gently. It's the first she's touched me this way in awhile and it felt good. One of her hands trails down my stomach until it reaches my groin.
My breaths hitch as one of her fingers slowly slips inside me and glides over my sensitive spots. Her lips brush against my ear and asks seductively, "Shall I take you here or in bed?"
"Bedroom," I moan in a whisper. "I want to see you."
We climb out of the tub, dry off and she carries me to our room. My breaths hitch as she lifts me in her arms and I meet her eyes. I could see pure passion in her eyes and tears fill my eyes.
She lays me in bed and retrieves the strap on. She applies some lubricant and gently enters me. I caress her face as the tears roll down my cheeks and she gently rolls her hips against me. I let out a low moan and kiss her passionately.
Shawn's POV
After the kids left, I took Abbigail up for a bath. I'm sure Beth and Melanie were doing the same. It's been awhile since the adults had time alone. I think it was when I had my car accident when Abbigail found out she was pregnant with Shawn junior.
I had Abbigail relaxed against my chest and rubbed gently at her stomach. Her breaths shutter with relief from nausea and I kiss her temple. "Thank you," she says in a breathy whisper.
"You're welcome," I say softly.
She looks back at me with tears in her eyes and chokes in a whisper, "I meant thank you for what you and Beth are doing for Melanie. I wish you were able to tell someone's emotions by their voice, than you'd understand."
"What you have is a gift Abbigail, I wish I could read someone like you. It sure would make interrogating people much easier," I say softly and kiss her forehead.
She hums in response and nestles her face in my neck. Her breaths calm as she breathes in my lingering vanilla and lavender scent. She hugs my arms around her waist and turns her face from my neck. "You have your own gift Shawn, the ability to know when someone is lying," she says quietly.
I let out a laugh and say, "The kids, but not really grownups."
"Grownups are kids at heart, the grownups you deal with are bullies who've taken it too far," she says quietly and turn her head to meet my eyes. "Use that to your best ability."
"I'll keep that in mind," I say softly giving her a kiss.
"I could fall asleep right here," Abbigail says in a tired whisper.
"Let's get you to bed," I say softly and help her up, out of the tub.
As soon as she's dressed and in bed, she was out. I lay facing her and tuck hair from her sleeping face. She lets out a content sigh and I kiss her forehead. My phone rings and I answer it quickly. "Hello," I say in a quiet whisper.
"Shawn," Annie chokes quietly and I knew something was wrong just by the tone of her voice.
"What happened," I ask softly, but I really wanted to freak out.
My sister never calls me crying, but one time and that was when she found our mother dead in bed. "Ashlee and I were just in an accident. She's not responding to the paramedics," she chokes in broken sobs.
"Are you okay, physically," I ask with concern.
"Some brusing from the seatbelts, cuts from glass and the paramedic said I broke my arm shielding my face from the airbag," she chokes quietly and starts sounding angry as she continues. "The son of a bitch ran a red light and hit her side of the car as we were in the middle of the intersection. He had to have been doing at least eighty."
"Shit," I say under my breath. Tears fill my eyes as I look at my sleeping wife. "Abbigail and Beth both found out that they're pregnant this morning. If I tell them, they'll be devastated."
"Beth was able to conceive Melanie's baby," Annie asks with relief to hear some good news.
"Yeah," I choke quietly. "Abbigail's parents took the kids an hour ago and I just got Abbigail to sleep. Let me go let Beth and Melanie know and I'll meet you at the hospital."
"No, stay with Abbigail. She's going to need you when she wakes up," Annie chokes quietly. "I'll call you if something changes or call me when Abbigail wakes up."
"I'll call Charlotte and Peter, you worry about your wife," I say in a soothing whisper.
I leave the room to let Abbigail sleep and go to Beth and Melanie's room. I could hear moaning through the door and didn't want to interrupt their moment. I decide to let them have their moment and head down to call Charlotte and Peter.
Charlotte answers on the third ring. "Hey Shawn, miss them already," she asks with a light laugh.
"I wish that was why I was calling," I choke quietly as I sit at the kitchen table. "Annie just called me, she and Ashlee were in a car accident. Ashlee is unconscious and took the direct hit. She said she'd call with an update."
"Oh my God, do the girls know," Charlotte asks in a choked whisper.
"Beth and Melanie are in the middle of their first intimate moment in awhile, I didn't want to ruin it and was going to wait. Abbigail just fell asleep before Annie called," I choke quietly.
"Aside from the girls and the kids, Annie is the only family you have left, isn't it," Charlotte asks with sympathy.
"Yes," I say in a choked whisper as tears roll down my cheeks. "Losing my parents is nothing compared to losing my sister. I don't know what I'll do."
"Shawn, everything okay," Melanie asks in sympathy as she and Beth walk in the kitchen.
"Charlotte, I'll call you back when I get an update. Beth and Melanie just entered the kitchen," I choke quietly and wipe my eyes.
"Thank you Shawn," she chokes quietly and hangs up.
Beth and Melanie sit at the table with concern in their eyes. "Annie called a little while ago. I was going to knock on your door, but I didn't want to ruin your moment," I choke quietly.
"What happened," Beth asks in a choked whisper knowing something was wrong if I was upset with a call from Annie. The last time I cried after a call from Annie, my mom died.
"She and Ashlee were in a car accident. Annie made out with bruises from her seatbelt, cuts from glass and a broken arm from blocking her airbag. Ashlee got the full impact and is currently unconscious. She's going to call when there's an update," I choke quietly as Beth breaks into uncontrolled sobs.
Melanie takes her in her arms and together she and I do our best to calm her for the baby's sake. It wasn't long before she was and I could see relief in Melanie's eyes. My phone rings and I immediately answer it. "Annie, please tell me you have good news," I choke quietly.
"Is this Shawn Andersen," a woman asks softly, speaking on my sister's phone.
"Where's my sister," I ask in a choked whisper as tears roll down my cheeks. "She told me her worst injury was a broken arm and bruised ribs."
"Those were her wife's injuries and unconscious, she's going to be fine," the woman says softly.
"I just talked with her on the phone," I choke in a panicked tone.
"I'm sorry to say this, but she had lacerations from glass. She bled out on the way to the hospital. I just called the recent phone number she called," she says in sympathy.
I let the phone slip from my hand and Melanie takes it before it crashes to the table. I walk away from the kitchen, needing to get away. I needed Abbigail, but she was sleeping.
I bump into her as I exit the kitchen and she looks at me confused at what was going on. I go in her arms as I break into uncontrolled sobs and she holds me. I felt Beth and Melanie hug at my sides and Melanie whispers in Abbigail's ear.
"Shawn, I'm so sorry," Abbigail chokes with sympathy.
"You guys and the kids are all I have left, I can't lose anyone else," I choke in broken sobs.
Abbigail's POVIt took me, Beth and Melanie two hours to calm Shawn down enough for her to sleep. The two of them laid with her while I went to call my mother. Before I could make the call, Shawn's phone was ringing."Hello," I say in a choked whisper. "Shawn's phone.""Abbigail, it's Annie. Listen I can't talk long, but I have a message for Shawn," she says in a scared whisper. "Donnie says hello and he has me and Ashlee hostage. We barely sustained a scratch when he ran us off the road.""Oh my God," I choke in shock to hear her voice and the news she gave me. "Do you know where you are?""Abandoned warehouse, I have to go. He's coming back," she says in a hushed tone and hangs up the phone.I go back up to the bedroom and Melanie is the first to notice that I was scared. She comes over to me and takes my face in her hands. "What happened," she asks in a protective tone."Who is Donnie," I ask in a choked whi
Beth's POVFive years ago...When I walked into Melanie's hospital room, she was curled up on her side, sobbing uncontrollably. I climb in behind her and hold her in my arms. I wanted to tell her about what I did, but now wasn't a good time. I don't want to get her hopes up if I'm not able to conceive her child. It would only destroy her more than she already is.She brings my hand to her chest and I was relieved she was accepting my comfort. I kiss her shoulder and she lets out a calming breath. She pushes me on my back and moves to lay on my chest. I wrap my arms around her, rubbing her back in comfort and she slowly drifts into sleep. Her breaths shook as she continued to calm down as she slept.Present day...I was able to get the others to leave the room so she could sleep peacefully in my lap. I play my fingers in her hair as she slept and started to feel tired myself. I place a pillow under my head and close my eyes as sleep take
Melanie's POVThree weeks passed since Beth and Abbigail learned they were pregnant. We've all made sure that Beth takes her medication. She has her weekly appointment with her doctor today and I have gone to every one of them.Thankfully the pregnancy has been progressing nicely and Beth and the baby are healthy. It still early to tell if there's more than one baby, but we think we'll get lucky today and find out. She's been a nervous wreck all morning, having never carried more that one baby before. She was anxious in the passenger seat, fidgeting with her fingers as I drove to the hospital. I place my hand over hers and she let's out a calming breath. She holds my hand in both of hers and continues taking calming breaths."You're not alone in this Beth," I say in a soothing whisper and she slips her fingers with mine."I'm scared Melanie," she chokes in a scared whisper. "I know I wanted to do this for you, but I've never carri
Abbigail's POVShawn came back down after checking on Beth and she looked relieved. She's been worried about her since we came home from the diner. The last time Beth cried like this, Amanda and Holly were killed. It took all of us to calm her down and that took a few days. She sits next to me and I take her hand. "How was she," I ask softly and she looks at me with relieved eyes."She's calm. She wanted to lay with Melanie for a bit," she chokes with relief. "I thought it was going to be like Mandy and Holly all over again. I never thought she'd calm down after losing them.""I was just thinking the same thing," I say quietly as tears fill my eyes.I move to straddle her lap and she meets my eyes. I bring my hands to caress her face and she lets out a relieved breath, closing her eyes. It's been a while since I last touched her this way and I knew it would calm her down.I slowly trail my hands from her face, down her neck
Shawn's POVBeth hasn't left my side since I confessed my true feelings for her. The same with Abbigail and Melanie. Beth spends most of the day with Melanie and Abbigail is with me, but at night Beth sleeps with me while Abbigail sleeps with Melanie.Melanie and I were in our office two weeks after learning Beth was pregnant with triplets when Beth walked in, emotional. Melanie got up to comfort her, but Beth shook her head. She comes sits across my lap, her face in my neck and breathes calming breaths. I rub her stomach and it seemed to help her calm down faster.Abbigail enters with concern about Beth and was relieved to see she was calmed down. Melanie kisses Beth's forehead before leaving with Abbigail. I took Beth to the couch in the office and she lays her head in my lap. "Can I lay on you," she asks in a choked whisper. She moves towards the inside of the couch and I lay on the outside. She lays on my chest and lets out a c
Melanie's POVAfter searching all day for the chief's granddaughter and finding the accomplice who was hiding her, I shut down. After learning the same man who killed the chief's daughter nearly killed Beth, scared me. When that bitch laughed at Beth nearly being one of his victims, I lost it. I wanted to kill her right there, but Shawn stopped me. If she hadn't, I probably would have still been beating her when backup arrived.I got three good punches in before she was able to get me to stop. Blake had a bloody nose, cut lip and cut on her eye. Her scared eyes stared into my emotionless eyes. She knew if Shawn didn't stop me, she'd be dead. I knew now she'd stay clear of me and anyone involved in my life or I'd finish what I started. When she was taken away, I let my guard down, scared that Beth and Abbigail were home without protection. I was scared someone was going to get passed Shelby and I wouldn't be able to live with myself if something happe
Beth's POVAfter noticing that something was bothering Melanie and offering to talk about it in private, she was relieved. It must be something serious if she's keeping quiet. She helps me off the couch and I lead her to the kitchen. She sits me next to Abbigail and goes to start making some tacos the way I like them. I was rubbing my stomach when I felt the first set of kicks. "Melanie," I say softly, trying to get her attention.I wanted her to be the first to feel the triplets kicking. When she didn't turn away from the stove, I thought she was ignoring me. Tears fill my eyes and everyone else looks at me with sympathy. "Melanie," I choke quietly and she still doesn't turn around.I got up to walk up to her and Shawn shakes her head. "She's not ignoring you," she chokes quietly and now I was concerned about my wife. If Shawn is getting choked up with something about Melanie, it usually involves Iraq. "Remember when I told you that som
Abbigail's POVI got upset when Melanie came in and said she and Beth wanted to have a night to themselves after we had already agreed the four of us share a bed tonight. Shawn did her best at calming me down, but it wasn't enough. With today's events and how she and Melanie came home, I needed both of them.Beth's moans echoed in the hall and was going to wait for them to stop before talking to Shawn about joining them in their room. I wasn't going to be able to sleep without Melanie tonight. Shawn rubs my stomach as I tried to go to sleep.A few minutes later it was quiet and I still wasn't able to fall asleep. I look up at Shawn and I didn't even have to ask. She wanted to be with them too. "They usually join us when they couldn't sleep. Do you think they'll mind if we join them because we can't sleep," I ask in a choked whisper."We can try," she chokes quietly. We climb out of bed and quietly enter their room. Beth look
AbbigailI woke the next morning after dreaming about my father and Shawn was feeding Nicholas. Beth was nursing one of the triplets, Melanie another and to my surprise Aubrey was here helping feed the final triplet. Jordan was asleep in the bed next to me, her eyes wet like she'd been crying.Shawn notices I'm awake and hands Nicholas over to Jennifer who just walked in with another woman I've never met before. Her eyes land on Aubrey and tears fill her eyes. She looks at Jennifer who nods also with tears in her eyes. Jennifer whispers in Shawn's ear and they walk up to Aubrey in the chair closest to the bed.Shawn reaches her first and takes the baby. Aubrey looks up at the woman who came in with Jennifer and Aubrey was in instant tears. "Grandma Devon," she asks in a choked whisper."Yes sweetheart. I'm sorry I haven't been to see you sooner," the woman, Devon, chokes quietly. "Losing your mother broke me. Where is my great granddaughter?""She's with Grandma Kelly," she says in a
Abbigail A few days had passed since my father came over drunk and wished my baby dead. Jessie and Elliott don't leave my side. One of them is with me at all times and makes sure I'm calm and relaxed. Shawn has been back and forth from checking on me and helping Aubrey out with the baby. Jennifer and Kelly stay with Beth and help keep her calm and relaxed and often the two of us nap together with Kelly and Jessie. Beth and I were snacking in the kitchen with my mother, Kelly and Jessie when my mother's phone started ringing. She scrunches her eyebrows and answers it. "Hello...This is she...What? When... I'll be right there," she chokes quietly and hangs up her phone. "Mom, what's going on," I ask in a soothing tone and she only needed to look up at me. Tears instantly fill my eyes and ask in a choked whisper, "It's about Daddy isn't it?""He had a stroke while driving, but they think it's because of an aneurysm that exploded in his brain. He's dead Abby," she chokes between broken
AbbigailSince meeting Jessie and Elliott, the baby only calms down for either of them in the last two weeks. Shawn wasn't bothered by it and Jessie was more than happy to help. I haven't spoken to my father since the day Shawn hit him. He's been ignoring all my calls and it's been stressing me out. Shawn is afraid of me going into early labor and the baby not making it.My stress levels were at their highest yesterday when my father finally answered my phone call and started yelling at me drunkenly. He said some things I won't repeat because I'm afraid of jinxing the possibility of it happening. Shawn wasn't able to calm me down and called the only people who have been able to help, Jessie and Elliott. When they got here I was feeling light cramping and the moment Jessie placed her hand on my stomach, the baby calmed and the cramping subsided. Elliott looks at Jessie with tears in her eyes and it told me this happened to them too, just maybe a different trigger. Shawn lets out a reli
ShawnI must have watched the videos a dozen times and it sickens me to know a mother can run over her own child like that. It wasn't even only her child, but her unborn grandchild. Was it because the "father" was an intersex woman? It shouldn't matter! How can she live with herself after what she did?And poor Skye, I can't imagine how she must feel. I don't even know how to tell her and she's on her way. I even called in a little help from senior Detectives, Jennifer and Elliott. They've been on the job a lot longer than Melanie and I and I wanted the best for our friend. A soft knock brought my attention to the door."You wanted to see me Shawn," Skye says confused.I motion to Melanie's empty chair and she sits down. Melanie had gone up to lay with the girls while I talk with Skye. Before I could say anything the doorbell rings. "Wait here," I say softly and she nods lightly. I answer the door and two older women in sharp suits flash their badges. "Thank you for coming. My wife ha
AbbigailIt's been two months since I regained my sight and watched my granddaughter born. I still haven't told the kids or my parents and those who knew respected that. Thankfully since my sight restored I haven't had a headache and I know the others were relieved. I just got off the phone with Doctor Byrne and he said he wanted to see me as soon as possible.I was on my way with Shawn and I was nervous about why he wanted to see me. He did a blood test a few days ago and haven't heard from him until now. Shawn could sense I was freaking out and takes my hand. I let out a calming breath as we pull in his office building. We make our way to his office and he had a neutral look on his face. It didn't ease my nerves as I crush Shawn's hand. She winces and I let go.Doctor Byrne motions for us to sit, but I was too anxious. He takes notice of this and smiles. "I called you here, because I thought it was better said in person," he says with a genuine smile and I let out the breath I'd bee
AbbigailI woke up a few days later, my head was pounding and my eyes were burning. When I open my eyes I could see, but was almost as if my eyes were wrapped in thick plastic or looking through a very unfocused camera lense. I know I'm alone because everyone's sent was faint. I break into uncontrolled sobs and moments later Shawn's strong vanilla and lavender fragrance fills my nose as she takes me in her arms."Will you rub my head please? I have this awful headache," I choke between sobs and keep my blurry vision to myself. I don't want to risk telling someone if this isn't permanent. She does as I asked and I groan with relief. I smell orchids as Melanie walks in, placing a baby aspirin in my hand and a glass of water. They both have been on top of my headaches making sure I'm relaxed. Beth naps with me and massages my neck and shoulders so I can sleep. "Thank you," I choke with relief and Shawn stops massaging my scalp. "Where's Beth?""Having a snack in the kitchen," Melanie say
Shawn's POV I was making breakfast while the others were still sleeping. It's been a few weeks since Abbigail lost her sight to a cancerous tumor on her optic nerve. The kids have gotten used to her not being able to see them and do their best to help her. She's even starting to get used to being blind again and recognizing the kids as they approach her. As I was placing food on the table everyone was slowly emerging in and taking what they wanted. I watch as Alex fixed a plate of Abbigail's favorites and places it in front of where she sits. I stood by and watched as she poured a glass of orange juice and places it next to the plate of food she fixed. Beth and Melanie walk in and notice Abbigail's breakfast was waiting for her, but didn't see her in the kitchen. Alex leaves the kitchen and I tell them what Alex has been doing this morning. She's never done this before and I'm curious to what she's going to do next.Moments later she walks in, guiding Abbigail. Abbigail stumbles a
To my dedicated readers,I'm sorry for the lack of updates these last few weeks. I'm a single mother of two children, 5 and 3. My 3 year old has recently been going through some intestine problems and nearly required surgery. Thankfully she did not need it. New chapters will hopefully starts rolling out soon, but unfortunately they will be slow. My main focus is on my children as much as I love writing, but my children come before my books.Things are starting to turn for the better and hopefully stay this way. Please forgive me if you're not patient with waiting for updates, I understand what it's like to get caught up in a good book and having to wait endlessly for an update.Thank you
Abbigail's POV I was in the closet a few days later, feeling around for an old box when the smell of orchids fills my nose. A smile forms on my lips and turn to give her a kiss. "Will you help me find a box? It's old and the top is starting tear at the edges. When you find it, open it," I say softly and wished at this moment I could see her reaction as she sees what's inside the box. I sit on the bed and wait for her to find the box that contains items from the night we met. I had a dream about our night the other day and made me remember I still had the soldier bear, bracelet and left over tickets. I even had Beth print out some pictures I took on my camera that night and had them in the box as well. I feel her sit next to me and hear her gasp in surprise at what was in the box. "The look on the guys face when I shot all the targets was priceless," she chokes with a laugh. "I can't believe you kept all this." "I used to close my eyes and think
