Chapter 133

Blake's POV

Five years have gone by, and a lot has changed. Some of the changes were painful, and I wish they hadn't happened. But there were also good things that made life easier.

I looked at a young boy who was holding onto my legs. He was just two years old, with dark wavy hair and big bright eyes, looking a lot like me. He seemed to be my son, even though I might appear stern at times, a smile couldn't help but creep onto my face.

"What are you doing here, Arlan?" I asked the little boy, who was smiling and giggling.

"I came to play!" he said, wanting me to lift him up. I couldn't resist and carried him in my arms.

"It's still morning, why do you want to play already?" I teased him, and he pouted in response.

"Oh? Don't tell me you ran away from your mother?" I continued to tease him. The little boy's pout turned deeper as he looked at me with puppy eyes. My heart almost melted, but I ignored it and told him with a strict voice, "So you did." "Why don't you go back to your mother
