Chapter 21

Another day of work and extreme body pain, my back hurts really bad and I know that won’t be a good enough excuse to take a leave from work. I’m already leaving for a week because of the trial, I just hope Nadia doesn’t replace us after we leave, well Nadia won’t but if the boss finds out he might. I stretched my arms before I let out a loud yawn.

"Today is gonna be a tough day" I groaned.

I throw the covers off me, rubbed my eyes, and stretched to the chest of my drawers to take out my work clothes.

Once I took them out I realized there were unpressed and had a lot of wrinkles on them. I sometimes wish the fabric doesn’t require ironing. I took the clothes and placed them on the floor, I grabbed a damp towel and placed it on top of the cloth, I pressed down the towel and smoothed it out with my hands. I repeatedly continued until the wrinkles lessened.

I learned this method when I was fourteen years old, I had no choice but to learn it because my stepmom refused to buy an iron presse
