Where Is Mate?

Garrett’s POV

My head was hurting, throbbing actually, like someone had knocked me out for a long time.

“Alpha, they hurt him, remember?”

“Why do you sound weak, Farris?” My body was beginning to move, my eyes fluttered open, but fuck it was so bright the lights they hurt my eyes. Closing them again, I waited a few minutes until I thought I could handle it again. Slowly, my eyes adjusted. Fucking heightened senses sucked ass sometimes. Looking around the room, I was in the hospital, which was good, but they hooked me up to machines, so I couldn’t move that much.

“Where is mate?” Farris asked me.

“Not sure buddy, but we will find her.” I promised him there was someone in the room with me and it took me a few seconds to realize who it was by their scent. Why the hell was she here? If she was here, goddess knows what she has told Josie. Her eyes locked with mine and she squealed excitedly.

“Boo boo bear, you're awake.” She basically jumped on me, causing pain all through my body.
