Blair's tone dripped with sarcasm as she smirked.

She confessed her feelings to Kieran in college, only to be rejected—the memory still stung.

Someone tried to smooth things over and said, "Kieran, hurry up and apologize to Caleb. The food is not even served yet, and you're already causing a scene."
