Joseph would have sold everything he owned to change the past if there were a time machine.

Unfortunately, it was only wishful thinking, and too late for regret.

"Mr. Lowell! Mr. Lowell! Please spare me! I was blind and acted out of bounds. I swear I'll never do this again!" Joseph pleaded, his forehead smeared with blood from banging it repeatedly.

Matthias stared at Joseph, silent and unmoved.

The entire time, Joseph had only begged for his own life, never mentioning the family he had put in danger.

Matthias scoffed, dismissing Joseph as unworthy of further attention before walking away.

"Mr. Lowell! Matthias! You can't do this! This isn't fair! I didn't even touch Leona! This isn't right!" Joseph screamed, his voice filled with frustration and fear.

Tobias slapped Joseph's face, glancing anxiously in Matthias' direction as he did so.
