The surrounding colleagues voiced their disapproval, and Blair's face grew darker.

She glared at Ernie with contempt as she insulted him, "I almost fell for your acting, thinking you're an important client. Sir, do you want to leave on your own, or should I call security to escort you out?"

Ernie slapped Blair across the face.

Victor had instructed him to be careful around Leona, but that did not mean he had to tolerate disrespect from anyone else.

"Get out! If we weren't in Wealthtrack right now, you'd be long dead!" Ernie cursed, his disgust evident.

Blair was stunned, holding her face in shock.

Did he just hit her?

"You bastard! How dare you slap me? You're just a hired actor! You must be looking for trouble!" Blair lashed out.

She grabbed the contract and aimed to throw it at Ernie.

"Go ahead! I'll make sure you regret it!" Ernie's gaze was murderous as he stared Blair down.

She hesitated, realizing that if she fought him, she would be outmatched by his physical strength.
