Chapter 61

"Eat up! Have some more." Xavier's heart ached at the thought of how Quinn never ate much whenever they had their meals together. He took out some cutlery and handed it to her.

Quinn's heart fluttered for a moment when she saw the wounds on his hand. Instead of taking the cutlery, she gently blew on his hand.

Xaiver's fingers curled as his heart clenched. "Are you feeling sorry for me?"

Quinn actually had a soft heart.

"No." She took the cutleryfrom him and started digging in.

The meal was nutritious, but she didn't have much of an appetite.

Xavier served her a bowl of nourishing soup. She only had a few sips and didn't eat much of the food.

"Don't like the food? I'll switch to a different nutritionist." It could only mean the nutritionist wasn't good enough if Quinn ate so little.

Seeing Quinn stop eating, Xavier took the cutlery and lunchbox from her to finish the remaining food.

He then cleaned it up.
