It was already December. There seemed to be no sign of coldness in the north that year. I loosened my scarf and leaned over the coffee shop, feeling a little tired.

He still didn't come.

We had made an appointment to celebrate Christmas together, but he didn't pay much attention to it. Maybe there were too many girls who wanted to play with him today, and I didn't even know if he still remembered that I had become his girlfriend.

I was in a daze. When I got up after a long time, I found a person sleeping next to me.

Charlie wore less than I did, and the thin sweatshirt was particularly loose on his body. From my position, I could see his faintly visible collarbone.

He used to sleep like this when he helped me with my lessons. He bent over the desk as if he lacked sleep.

I hit him.

"Ouch, Bernie, you hit me?"

He rubbed his waist, sat up, and looked at me with his chin propped up. After a while, he gently raised the corners of his mouth.

He asked, "Where do you want to go?"
