CHAPTER FIFTY TWO: Scents

Isabella let out a long breathe when Hayden walk out. She could not understand why her heart was heavy and sad. She was still in deep thought, thinking about how Hayden has not been failing in fulfilling his marital right when her cellphone rang out. She answered the call not in hatse and listen to the caller.

" Leon? " She called worriedly when he heard the latter gasping at the other end.

" Isabella ... Can you please show up? I was attacked by Sid and his godfather " He said breathlessly that Isabella swallowed at once.

" Where are you? " She asked with urgent tone.

" Around double lodge. Please ... Isabella. "

Suddenly Isabella stop breathing. She frowned, gripping the cellphone against her ear.

" Is this a ruse to lure Hayden out? "

" Oh common, no! Do you think i will blow away my last chance to be with you? " Leon inquired and Isabella stay muted for a while thinking very hard.

" Alright, i will be on my way and be alert " She replied and hang up with her heart thudding.
