It was half past one already. Ruby stared at the couple who took their reservation,they looked so happy in love. The man wrapped his arms around the woman’s shoulder, leaning across the table.

She was already done with her third cup of coffee and wasn’t ready to go home yet. It was the first time she stayed out that late with Nate. The waiter had to heat up their food again after giving them a stern frown but they didn’t mind.

She loved how Nate made her feel like a teenager, through him, she got to live most of the moments she wished to live when she was younger.

She had been too shy and was scared that she was going to get bullied or called ugly each time she showed her face outside her home.

She sent a text to Maria who was now at home, telling her not to expect them home anytime soon.

“They look really in love, don’t they?” Nate commented

He was slowly beginning to understand the things that Ruby wanted, Grace had advised him to take time to learn her love language. Learning
