Chapter 46- Birthday Celebration

Vera Anderson's POV

I was in my bed and seriously in deep thought internalizing everything that happened in META. I can't help myself but worried about Royce. He has already facing a lot of problems. and I know how hard it is on his part. Suddenly my phone rang. I hurriedly picked it up as soon as I read Royce's name flashed on the screen.

"Yes babe, are you now at home?", I asked.

"Yeah..Uhm, I forgot to tell you. It slipped off my mind, tssk.. It's Vince's birthday today. He called me this morning and told me to come with you to Skybar"

"We need to be there or else my best friend would become upset. Anyway, it's just the four of us, And I guess you also want to see Alexa right?", he said.

"Yes, I already missed my best friend. I wanted to have some chitchats with her. Are you going to pick me up? Or I'll bring my car?"

"Of course, I'll come and pick you up later at 7;30. See you around babe. I'm hanging up", he said, afterwards, I heard a beep sound.
