{Harry}
It was hard to believe there would be a day Diane would be asking me to be her boyfriend, and what was more unbelievable was that I would be saying yes to her request, though I have my reasons for agreeing to such crazy and strange request. "Let's go now" She said with her soft voice, already in front of me. I glanced casually at the SUV car moving off the school ground. "You were so quick in sending away your bulky bodyguard" I remarked. "My driver" She corrected with a glare "And he is not all that bulky, okay?" I didn't say anything to that. "So where's your car?" She asked, glancing around. "My car is not here" I replied easily. She arched a brow. "Your car is not here?" She sounded confused. "Are we flying to your place?" "You can fly if you want to, you're a witch anyways" I shrugged. She huffed, flipping her hair to the back. "We're gonna be on that" I informed, now pointing to the black motorcycle in front of us. She stared at my power bike like it was a piece of shit. "THAT" She pointed one of her small fingers to the bike. "Yeah, that" I replied and moved towards it. "I am not going on that THING with you" She said, sounding as irritated as she looked. I grabbed the matching black helmet, getting annoyed with her attitude "It's either you ride with me now, or you go home and forget about me becoming your boyfriend" Her mouth opened for a second, then closed. "You don't really mean that, right?" She asked with a small voice. "Just try me" I half shrugged my shoulder. Diane held the strap of her fashion bag, biting her soft, pink lips. Her action got my attention, I started wondering if her lips were as soft as they looked. "Fine" She finally gave her reply in between a loud sigh. "I'll ride with you on that....THING" She said, pressing her lips tight like riding on a bike was a sin. "But I have to get a helmet" She added fastly and it was my turn to press my lips. "Safety first" She mentioned. These rich kids and their rules. I stretched my helmet towards her but she didn't accept it. She lifted her eyelashes and asked softly "What about you?" I shrugged lightly "I can go without a helmet" "But it's safety....." "Are you going with me or not?" I snapped. "Don't use that tone with me" she snapped back. I moved closer to her, my nose catching her feminine perfume. "Harry, what....what are you...." She stuttered and I started to fix the helmet on her head. "Oh" she whispered and exhaled. There was a minute of respite as I quietly adjusted the hard hat on her head. "You're really gonna go without a helmet" she said after fixing the helmet on her. I shrugged in response to what she said and she snorted "It's not like I care, you can die if you want to" She said indifferently. I smirked at her nonchalant attitude "If I die, that just means your boyfriend is dead" I reminded her and she held her bag strap tightly, fear appearing in her eyes briefly. "Whatever, let's go" She waved off, waiting for me to climb on the bike and start it. "Get on" I ordered, waving my hand to the space behind me. She was about to lift one of her legs to climb the bike but I noticed she stopped to glance down at her legs. "What is it this time, Diane?" I asked impatiently. She hesisted then spoke softly "I'm wearing a skirt" I sighed exasperatedly "And what should I do about that huh?" I said assessing her skirt. It was a cute short skirt that displayed half of her smooth, fair thighs and her straight legs. "Just get on the bike" I gestured to the seat at my back. She frowned "No" "Diane" I called warningly. "You have to talk nicely to me" She insisted. "You get on now, or I leave" I offered the two options, waiting for her to make a choice. She jotted out her lips like the brat that she is and decided to chose the first option which was getting on the bike but she struggled to climb, her short skirt serving as the problem. I sighed "Don't worry, Diane, I won't look at your legs" She paused and I added. "I've seen a lot of sexy ones anyways" She made a low guttural sound of displeasure and climbed the bike in annoyance. Finally. We can now move after spending an eternity here. "Hold me" I instructed, expecting her to disobey and she did. This was Diane we were talking about here. She does not like to take orders from people, especially her fellow students. "I think I will be fine—ohmygodHarry!" She screamed my name when the bike moved foward. "Fuck you!" She cursed me in a yell, wrapping her soft arms around my waist. I can't beleive she held me right after cursing me. I heard her saying some words but the wind and helmet blocked everything out, but I could make a wild guess that she was calling me an asshole. **** Ever since we got to my place, Diane has not stopped complaining about the first bike ride experience she had today, and because of that, we have not started discussing the important topic. "I felt like I was gonna fall off the bike at some point!" She overstated, her hazel eyes wide. I rolled my eyes. "Stop exaggerating" "No, I am not exaggerating" She pointed a finger to her chest, I dropped my eyes there for a second. "It's a good thing I had a helmet" "My helmet" I reminded her. She groaned and I guess she does not have anything to say, at least not yet. "I wanna ask you something" I said, purposely locking my eyes with hers. "Why did you chose me?" Slowly, she divided her lips "I don't know" She whispered, then shook her head vigorously "We both know I didn't have a choice that was why I came to you" She replied, her voice adjusted to the usual rude one. "Why did you even blurt out my name to your dad in the first place?" I quizzed, penetrating my eyes into her. "Uhm...." She shrugged, her cheeks appearing red. "I guess I said your name because I hated you" My eyes crinkled as I began to study her. "Look, I need some water" She said quickly, her voice sharp. I directed a finger to the kitchen "Go get it" She squeezed her brows "I should go get it myself?" She asked slowly like she was trying to sink in the fact that I told her to go get water herself. I lolled on the armchair, my eyes fixed on her "You think I'm gonna go get it for you?" She blinked her long, soft eyelashes at me, her plump mouth parted "But I am your guest...." I rolled my eyes. This girl is so spoiled and that she annoys me every damn time. She resumed "And I am going to be your girlfriend!" "Congratulations" "Don't fucking congratulate me, you fucking asshole" She cursed me brutally, an angry glare on her face. "When I become your girlfriend...." "Fake girlfriend" I corrected solidly. She ignored the correction "You're gonna be treating me right, treating me like as nice boyfriend should...." I groaned, doing another eye roll as I could not help it, but that didn't make her stop. "And you're gonna treat me like a Queen...." "Just go get your water" I said tiredly to her. "You're gonna treat me...." "Like a Queen" I quickly completed. "I got it, now go get the water" "You won't treat me with harshness and...." "Oh, Jesus" I groaned again, rising from the chair. "I give up" I said, striding towards the refrigerator to get her water....and mine. I really need it now. I extended a bottled water to her but she stared at it questioningly. I let out a sigh of frustration "What is it now?" "I thought I was supposed to drink from a glass cup?" "Look, Miss Arrogant Queen, I am not your fucking maid" I adjusted my standing position to appear straighter "So it's either you take the bottle of water from me and drink or I go upstairs to my room and that means no boyfriend for you" She bit her bottom lip hard before snatching the bottle from me. "Fine!" "Oh, Christ" She was lucky I had plans to benefit from this fake dating thing we were going to be discussing soon, it's the reason I have practiced some patience with her. "I can't beleive I'm gonna be in a relationship with you soon" I remarked tiredly, taking my seat on the arm chair. "Fake relationship" It was her turn to remind me. I nodded in agreement, opening the cap of the bottle to drink from it. After drinking, I looked up and caught Diane staring at me in a strange manner. Her eyes were soft, her plump lips parted and her cheeks tinted with little pink. She looked attractive that way to be honest. "What is it?" I queried, staring right back into her eyes, but she shook her head, the pink on her cheeks getting a deep shade. "It's just the way you drink water, that's all" She simply replied, her focus on the bottle of water. I wanted to quiz her on what she just said but she was already opening the bottle to drink from it. I watched her intently, observing how elegantly she held the bottle and how she took the water sip by sip. I smirked. Oh rich girls....They make everything refined. "We haven't talked about our relationship" I started the topic. "Fake relationship" I corrected myself. She closed the bottle of water. "Yeah" She whispered, gently brushing her fingers over her forehead. "You said you would agree to be my boyfriend under some conditions" I liked how she went to the point. "They are very simple conditions" She inhaled. "I'm listening" I opened my mouth to speak, not missing the mistrust her hazel eyes held. "I need a tutor and I need someone for my homeworks and projects" "Then get someone to do that for you" She said and I smirked. She quirked her brows "Hold on, that 'someone' is me?" I gave her my uneven smile "That's right. For the rest of this semester, you are going to be my tutor and you will do my homeworks and projects when I ask you to" She cocked her head to the side, some of her big braids following the movement "So what, you wanna make me your slave?" I sat foward, my back a little bent and my head not too far from her seat "I am usually busy, same with my siblings, and as you can see, they are not even here, it would have been great to ask them to do my homeworks instead of asking the rude, billionaire queen" "You're saying I am rude right to my face" She said agressively, trying to bring up another fight. "Well are you not?" I questioned with narrowed eyes. She scoffed a laugh and I smirked, knowing I had left her temporarily speechless with my retort. "Also, you don't get to tell people that it's a fake relationship, not even my siblings. I'm not about to tarnish my image so you gotta keep your trap shut" I stated firmly to her. "I was gonna keep it a secret in the first place, you didn't have to act like a wannabe soldier, okay?" I eyed her hard "Do you agree to the conditions or not?" I asked, neglecting her provoking sentence. "Remember the homeworks" To think, she habitually started chewing her pink, full mouth. Her action drew my attention, and I couldn't help but linger my gaze on her lips getting softly bitten by her teeth. "Fine!" That one word from her was able to get my mind back on track. I studied her quietly. "We've got a deal?" Her eyes roamed my face, and I knew there was something else, but still she said; "Yeah. We've got a deal" There was something else we were both not discussing, and it's about our feelings in the way, well maybe her feelings anyways, not mine. We both knew falling for her was impossible, and to be frank, I don't think I was the type of guy she would fall in love with. Diane looked like a girl that would go for soft, funny guys like my brother, Henry. "Don't worry, I'm not gonna fall for you, it's the last thing that would happen" I assured her, making it obvious that I'd read her mind. "I won't fall for you too. It's never gonna happen" "And if it happens?" I asked, trying to press her a little. "Harry, it's not going to happen" She said with certainty "Not even in a dream" "Good" I sat back on the chair. "What is the first task on the list?" "Meeting my dad" She answered right away, a little smile tugging her lips. Okay. That would either go well, or it would go bad, ending in disaster. I can't wait to see how it's gonna end.{Diane}One thing I have made note of when talking to Harry is that conversing with him isn't exactly something that puts you in the best of moods, but I have to talk to him, it is for the best. I still find it hard to believe he agreed to be my boyfriend, demanding that I do his homeworks in return and I think that's fair enough, at least it's fair when it's Harry you're dealing with here. It's not like I have a choice but to accept every of his stupid terms and conditions. "Diane!" A lively voice called my name in the cafeteria and I turned my face to the owner of the voice. "Henry" I smiled at him.He waved at me to come over to his table and I obeyed his hand gesture, smiling wider. Henry was the guy that would have been perfect as my boyfriend, but as my unlucky life would have it, I was gonna be dating his brother instead. His cold, mean brother. I reached the table and saw Harley sitted there, also with a guy from the soccer team, and there was Harry, staring blankly at me.
{Harry}'Is this the place Diane lives?' I asked myself, subtly taking note of the neat, shiny designs on the wall and the ceiling. No wonder the girl behaves like a spoiled princess. Her place looks like an actual palace with the beautiful colours and lights, but they were too bright for my liking. If it were to be my place I would have gone for dark designs. "You are really Diane's boyfriend?" The woman sitting on the other white couch questioned me for what? the fifth time. I seriously wanna tell her to piss off, but I had to remain patient. "Yes. I am Diane's boyfriend" I answered in a curt tone that says I wouldn't entertain further questions. She shouldn't take my niceness for granted. "Wow" She puffed out air "I can't beleive I would be seeing Harry Michaelson in reality because of my husband's daughter" She muttered, her painted lips lifted slightly in a scorn. I don't like her already. There's just something about the way she talks that irks me. "Can I take a picture?"
{Diane}I have never had a date like the one I had with Harry. It didn't start well and definitely didn't end well, but at least it wasn't boring. The dates I've had with other guys involves a lot of ingenuine actions like the guys showing fake kindness, bringing up little conversations that always turns out to be mind numbing and the soft background music usually makes me want to sleep off on my seat, but I have always had to learn self discipline as Mr Pierce's daughter. I shook my head as I thought about my duties as the popular billionaire's daughter. I stared at my locker, my books in my hands as I started to wish I was born into a simple family where the daughters chooses what she wants, however she want it, wherever she want it and whoever she want it with. Life wouldn't be so complicated. "Diane" The husky voice made me look away from my locker to my side. Harry was standing there, staring at me with his left hand arrogantly in the pocket of his black pants. "Harry" I bre
{Diane} Life can be annoying sometimes, especially during the times your wealthy, business father wants to you to date his rich friend's son for business deals. Seriously. For business. "I'm not interested in Thane Darko" I stated to my dad. He scoffed, looking very pissed at me "You are not always interested, Diane. You are not even interested in anyone!" "No, it's not like that, da—" "Then it's like what?" My dad vociferated, his eyes wide and dark at me. "Like what huh?" My dad half yelled, glaring at me. "You rejected all the good guys that wanted you, including Thane Darko. THANE DARKO!" The room fell silent, but that was only for five seconds. "Why do you keep turning down those good kids?" He questioned in a low, but angry voice. I didn't say a word to give him answer. Instead I toyed with my food, while he studied me with those angry eyes. "Do you have a boyfriend?" He asked out of the blue. "What?" The question came out in a whisper. "Do you
{Harry}The way Diane had stared at me when I entered the class was suspicious. It was like she had done something wrong and was scared of the problems she has to face in the future. Somehow, her gaze made me feel like everything was related to me. The girl can be an open book sometimes. {Diane}I stared expectantly at Harry, praying he says something, and not just anything, something positive, but my prayer was useless as he just sat there, staring blankly at me without saying a single word. "Harry" I called softly and blinked gently. "Won't you say something?" He still stared coldly, like he was a vampire. "Say something, Harry!" I was tempted to yell at him as I was getting impatient and frustrated. Harry raked his fingers through his hair and blew out his cheeks before getting up from his seat. What? "Harry, wha....wha..." I stammered, blinking repeatedly, but he turned his back to me like I wasn't even talking. "Wait, are you leaving?" I asked, careful about the volume of my voice since we were in the cafeteria. Harry was walking away from me without saying a word about my request. That....is the guy I wanna date? Wow. What a dick.
